THOMAS HASSALL ANGLICAN COLLEGE DRUM CIRCLE

Senior School students from Thomas Hassall Anglican College in Sydney’s south-west (Middleton Grange) come together once a week to learn modern arrangements of traditional rhythms from North-West Africa. Mr Byron Mark, their teacher, has spent some time in Guinea and brings a fresh edge and authenticity to the drum-circle sound. The students are looking forward to their performance at the Sydney Drum & Percussion Show and they will definitely impress you with their solid breaks and African grooves.
