RESOUND LINKS DONATED INSTRUMENTS WITH FLOOD AFFECTED MUSICIANS

Resound is an organisation which links donated musical instruments with musicians who have lost their instrument/s as a result of Australian natural disasters such as bushfires and floods. Resound is run by musicians for musicians.

Resound is partnering with the Northern Rivers Conservatorium in Lismore to help replace musical instruments lost in the recent floods. They already have a wide range of musicians who have applied for replacement instruments from all ages, some student, some community and some gigging musicians, and they are expecting many more applications. The Northern Rivers Conservatorium alone has over 500 students that have been affected, and there are many more musicians in the wider community who have been impacted terribly.  To this end, Resound is looking for pledges of musical instruments or donation of funds so that they can meet the different needs of the recipient musicians.

You can help by:
– sharing the flyer/s with your music and social networks (Click here for downloadable pdf of flyer on how to donate GUITARS and here for VIOLINS)
– encourage people within your network to pledge or donate
– consider a fundraising concert or event to support Resound’s campaign

If you know of any musicians who need our help, please point them towards the website, https://www.resound.org.au/.
