Codeine tempo, anti-romance songs is how the alt-country trio Roadhouses describe themselves. Roadhouses formed in 2014 when guitarist and songwriter Yvonne Moxham invited Mess Hall drummer Cec Condon to play what was meant to be a one off show. A recording session in NYC with War On Drugs producer Nicolas Vernhes followed, and then bass player James Bellesini joined to round out the trio. Roadhouses has just released Drinkin’, a new single with accompanying video. The track is taken from the bands forthcoming self titled album which is out Feb 2018 on Broken Stone Records. Roadhouses launched the song to Sydney audiences last night and will do the same this Sunday night at the The Grace Darling in Melbourne
