Roundhouse Entertainment and MG Live are thrilled to announce acclaimed US indie rockers BAND OF HORSES will perform an exclusive, one-off headline show in Sydney on Wednesday 15 January 2025 at the Enmore Theatre – their only Australian headline performance. This special, one-night-only performance takes place during their much-anticipated national a day on the green tour with THE TESKEY BROTHERS.
Marking their first Australian shows since 2016, BAND OF HORSES will perform an unforgettable mix of new tracks and fan-favourites. Known for their anthemic sound, deeply evocative lyrics and hauntingly beautiful melodies, beloved classics like The Funeral, Laredo and No One’s Gonna Love You have cemented the band’s status as indie rock legends. Australian audiences have long been devoted to BAND OF HORSES, who first toured the country in 2006 and garnered a loyal following here with three ARIA Top 30 albums.

Formed in Seattle in 2004 and now based in South Carolina, BAND OF HORSES quickly rose to prominence as one of the defining bands of their era, channelling the generational anxiety in those early millennial years and turning it into powerful and inclusive art. Fronted by founding member Ben Bridwell, the band’s 2010 album Infinite Arms earned a Grammy nomination, solidifying their place in the music landscape. The lineup includes longtime members Ryan Monroe and Creighton Barrett, and newer additions Matt Gentling and Brett Nash. BAND OF HORSES have released six studio albums, including the critically acclaimed Things Are Great (2022) which saw Ben Bridwell more autobiographical than he’s ever been on record. This year they released the live collection Acoustic at The Ryman Vol. 2 (2024), a follow-up to their beloved 2014 acoustic album.
