Blues Roulette is a Melbourne-based blues collective and institution that puts a unique spin on blues jams by featuring Australia’s best-known blues artists performing “one-time-only” shows with a dedicated house rhythm section. Founded by Ben Wicks, the group hosts events without predetermined setlists, no rehearsals, and no safety nets, emphasizing improvisation and spontaneous music. They perform at venues and festivals across Australia, have released live EPs with guest artists like Jimi Hocking, Bill Barber, Frank Sultana, Jesse Valach + more and also feature a separate ten-piece soul and R&B Blues Roulette Big Band.

Ben from Blues Roulette is in deep preparation for shows next month, all the while serving up some solid shows and entertainment for y’all during October. He’s also working on his Halloween costume — BUT he’ll be in RADelaide with Nathan Beretta doing some shows out there with him.
