DATES & VENUES ANNOUNCED FOR ERIC BIBB & BAND – ONE MISSISSIPPI 2026 AUSTRALIAN TOUR

Three-time Grammy-nominated blues legend Eric Bibb today announces the dates, venues and ticket details for his long-awaited 2026 Australian tour, with tickets going on sale from Wednesday, October 29.

Bibb will return to Australia in April and May 2026, joined by his world-class live band to perform songs from his forthcoming album One Mississippi (out January 30, 2026, through Repute Records). These will be his first full-band Australian shows since early 2023, performing as a four-piece at 17 venues in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia, ACT and Tasmania.

For this special tour, Bibb is bringing his live band so that Australian audiences can experience the lush, full arrangements of One Mississippi exactly as they were recorded, along with some back catalogue favourites – including a surprise or two specially curated by Eric for his Australian fans. With Bibb on guitar and vocals, and the nightingale-sweet voice of his wife Ulrika Bibb making a special guest appearance, the lineup features longtime collaborators:
Staffan Astner – Guitar (Celine Dion, Ray Charles)
Glen Scott – Bass, keyboard (Grammy-nominated producer of Eric’s recent albums, including One Mississippi)
Paul Robinson – Drums (former “forever drummer” for Nina Simone

Tickets for all Eric Bibb & Band shows are on sale from Wednesday, October 29, while tickets for Western Australia, Tasmania and Cairns will go on sale November 4, Bibb’s forthcoming new album One Mississippi has already been hailed as a landmark in his storied career, with Eric describing it as “a call for peace, justice and unity in a divided world.” Produced by Glen Scott and recorded in Sweden, the album features a stellar cast of international musicians including UK guitar virtuoso Robbie McIntosh (Paul McCartney, John Mayer), with backing vocals by Shaneeka Simon and Sara Bergkvist Scott and contributions from Janis Ian and Fred Koller, who wrote the poignant title track

The first single, “This One Don’t”, co-written by Bibb and Scott, is out now. With its infectious groove and joyful video filmed at Vienna’s Blues Fever Festival, it’s a vibrant preview of what audiences can expect when Bibb and his band hit Australian stages.
