JOE JACKSON ‘Welcome to Burning-By-Sea’ SINGLE
Releases First single Welcome to Burning-By-Sea from forthcoming album HOPE AND FURY (April 10)
Grammy winning artist Joe Jackson releases the first single, ‘Welcome to Burning-By-Sea’, from his forthcoming studio album HOPE AND FURY.
Listen to it here https://joejackson.lnk.to/burningPR
The new album will be released worldwide on April 10, 2026, via earMUSIC and is available to preorder now. HOPE AND FURY is Jackson’s first studio album since 2019’s Fool.
On the new single ‘Welcome to Burning-By-Sea’, Joe Jackson sketches, with his characteristic sharp wit, a fictional English seaside town – inspired by Brighton and Jackson’s hometown Portsmouth – which becomes a microcosm of the whole country, with all its contrasts and contradictions.
After laying the groundwork for the new album in Michael Tibes’ Fuzz Factory studio in Berlin, Jackson returned to New York’s Reservoir Studios with co- producer Patrick Dillett and assembled his on-and-off band since 2016 — “bassist for life” Graham Maby, guitarist Teddy Kumpel, and drummer Doug Yowell — augmented by the Latin percussion of Peruvian native Paulo Stagnaro.
The result might strike a fan as a cross between 2019’s Fool, 1991’s Laughter and Lust, and 1982’s Night and Day.
Dividing his time between New York City and Portsmouth, Jackson describes himself as “bicoastal” both geographically and musically — and the new album HOPE AND FURY as Bicoastal LatinJazzFunkRock.

CONSEQUENCES’ – THE DEBUT SINGLE FROM ZIPPORAH + MIXTAPE NAUNGU URUI COMING 6 FEBRUARY
Today marks the release of ‘Consequences’, the debut single from one of Australia’s most exciting new voices, ZIPPORAH.
Intimate and raw, ZIPPORAH’s velvet vocals wrap around a blend of beats, keys and horns with ease as lyrics detail the messiness of choices made in a relationship that ultimately didn’t serve her. ZIPPORAH worked with ARIA winning Sydney-based producer Finbar Stuart (BOY SODA, Yawdoesitall) and ARIA winning Melbourne producer and composer Nikodimos (Genesis Owusu, Hiatus Kaiyote) on the track and her upcoming debut mixtape release NAUNGU URUI, set for 6 February.
“This was the song that made me realise there is hope, it’s the song that made me feel grounded; that there were people in this country, let alone my city, who are like-minded and are able to champion the sound.” ZIPPORAH explains.
“I just wanted to capture my personality and my attitude, it’s just fun! I went from being really shy and reserved in the session [with Finbar], to hovering over him and being a driving force. It came together so quickly, and then we gave it to Niko – that’s when the sax and flute came in over it.”
A masterful blend of R&B, soul and jazz-inflected music, the mixtape positions
ZIPPORAH as one of Australia’s exciting new voices, debuting at a time where Australian R&B has never felt richer. ZIPPORAH’s debut project beautifully adds to this tapestry of sounds, developed by empowered female voices; guided by versatility and honed emotional intelligence, and delivered with self-aware confidence and charisma.
Born into the entertainment industry to beloved performers, ZIPPORAH’s earliest core memories have been formed in rehearsal rooms, venues and on stages around the country. A proud Samu and Suy woman from Saibai Island in the Torres Strait,
ZIPPORAH has walked between two worlds – embracing both sides of her Torres Strait / Australian heritage – to build a career that has always kept her culture front of mind.

THIS I OWE Lures Listeners Into The Depths With Haunting New Ballad “Swallow”
Alternative metal quartet THIS I OWE proudly announces the release of their powerful new single, “Swallow,” a haunting and deeply emotional track now streaming on all major digital platforms.
The idea for “Swallow” came soon after the release of the band’s critically acclaimed debut album, Alchemists. Though already deep into planning their next major project, This I Owe felt a pressing creative need to release one more track, marking a poignant bridge between chapters.
“Swallow” is a raw, atmospheric ballad shaped in the emotional aftermath of the band’s debut. True to its title, the song reflects the profound experience of being pulled under by your own thoughts and feelings. This I Owe masterfully crafted a mood of slow, sinking tension that feels distinctly unsettling yet strangely calm, carrying that signature emotion with a subtle, yet effective, classic-rock edge.
“Swallow” marks a small step away from the album’s sound, but not so far that fans won’t recognize the band’s identity. THIS I OWE are confident listeners will hear familiar threads woven into this new chapter.
Stream the single on all major digital platforms here: orcd.co/swallowsingle
The Legacy of Alchemists: The new single arrives on the heels of the band’s celebrated debut album, Alchemists. Conceptually, the album delves deep into the universal experience of grief. It follows a protagonist navigating the complex stages of loss, mourning the death of hope, their “Queen of Hearts.” Moving from sorrow and anger to reflection and eventual acceptance, Alchemists is both a deeply personal journey and a cathartic, sonic ritual for listeners.

ALISSA Unveils New Single “The Room Where She Died”
Canadian powerhouse Alissa White-Gluz starts her long-awaited solo career with her new single, “The Room Where She Died”, out now everywhere via Napalm Records.
For years, ALISSA has been releasing original music and self-directed music videos exclusively for her Patreon community. Now, the multi-faceted artist is ready to share her latest single with the world at large. Having performed on the world’s biggest stages as one of death metal’s most recognisable voices and enchanting the world as a leading woman of the scene, ALISSA teams up with Oliver Palotai of power metal virtuosos Kamelot, with whom she has performed and co-written multiple times before.
“The Room Where She Died” moves away from the style she has been known for in recent years: making use of her impressive range in both clean vocals and fierce growls, she embellishes the sophisticated composition with an orchestral intro, catchy riffs, and even a jazzy interlude. Equally heavy and catchy, the charismatic singer ignites a new spark.
One single is all it takes for Alissa to captivate the metal world and show everyone that this icon is here to stay.
Check out the official music video for “The Room Where She Died”

ALISSA on “The Room Where She Died”: “The Room Where She Died” marks the beginning of a new chapter for me, born from a place of deep creativity and renewed fire. It’s the first step into a world I’ve been building quietly for years, and one of many collaborations I have with Oliver Palotai, my Kamelot bandmate with whom I’ve found a great creative flow. Making this music, writing the video and even painting the single artwork myself has reinvigorated me in ways I didn’t expect, reminding me exactly why I love making art. I have been honing my skills as a performer, vocalist and songwriter over many years now, and I feel like I am finally at a place where I can let my work stand on its own. I poured every ounce of passion, pain, and purpose into this, and I’ve never felt more inspired. I hope you can feel that spark too, because this is only the beginning! I’m endlessly grateful for the overwhelming response to ‘The Room Where She Died’, and the love and encouragement I’ve already received from my peers, fans, and the metal community overall. Thank you!”

SUPERHEAVEN Grunge Revivalists Announce Australian Tour For April/May 2026
With Special Guests, Angel Du$t
Superheaven will bring their post-hardcore grit, full-bodied and fuzzed-out distortion and hazy alternative melodies to Australia this April/May. With special guests, Angel Du$t, the tour pairs two of the most potent forces in the grunge revival and melodic hardcore together for one seismic tour.
Delivering fuzzed-out sonics, cathartic hooks and unyielding momentum that bridges ’90s alt-rock grit with the current wave of punk re-innovation, Superheaven are pure, raw emotion and driven energy. Formed from the ashes of Daylight in 2014, Superheaven have carved out a sound of post-hardcore heft and hazy melodies. Their 2015 breakthrough Ours Is Chrome earned a spot on Brooklyn Vegan’s “50 Best Punk & Emo Albums: 2015-2019,” while tracks like “Poor Aileen” landed them spots on festivals from Outbreak to Sick New World.
The bands streaming numbers are insane with “Youngest Daughter” well over the 200 million mark and their entire catalogue nudging half a billion!
Angel Du$t, have evolved from hardcore roots via frontman Justice Tripp’s time in
Trapped Under Ice into a genre-bending monster. Blending d-beat fury with pop hooks on records like A.D., Pretty Buff, and the highly acclaimed, Brand New Soul. A linchpin for the new generation, their eclectic spirit echoes the likes of Bad Brains while keeping things firmly fresh and updated. Blazing a trail for the next wave of aggressive artists to branch out into unabashedly melodic territory.
Tripp’s work is marked by an ever-evolving creativity that’s made him highly influential, but which has often put him a number of steps ahead of the very trends that he’s helped to inspire. Now Angel Du$t fearless and open-hearted tribute to all things rock, sees them right on the cutting edge. Tripp might forever be keeping an eye on the future, but Angel Du$t’s time is now!
Live, Superheaven’s shows unfold like a droning conversation among friends, muscular riffs underpin walls of feedback that effortlessly slide into hypnotic jams that leave rooms humming.
Angel Du$t, by contrast, is pure controlled chaos, a whirlwind of stage dives and singalongs that turns every room into a collective fever dream.
Together, both acts will give fans an evening of intensity like they rarely experience, trading the weight of isolation anthems for the joy of collective release.
These shows will be Superheaven’s first Australian dates in over a decade after recently returning from an extended hiatus and this tour marks a rare collision for two bands at the peak of their powers, redefining what a modern rock bill can feel like.

ALTER BRIDGE Return With Latest Single “Playing Aces” From Their Self-Titled Eighth Studio Album Scheduled for Release on January 9, 2026
With less than six weeks until the arrival of their eighth studio album on January 9, 2026, ALTER BRIDGE return with their brand-new single, “Playing Aces.” The track bursts open with the band’s trademark dual-guitar firepower as Myles Kennedy (vocals/guitars), Mark Tremonti (guitars/vocals), Brian Marshall (bass), and Scott Phillips (drums) lock into the muscular groove that has defined their sound for more than two decades. The propulsive verses build into a soaring, unforgettable chorus, highlighted by Kennedy’s declaration: “If I risked it all, I hope you’ll understand that I had to play my hand…”
“Playing Aces” is available now across all digital service providers. The accompanying music video—directed by J.T. Ibanez—is also out today and can be seen below.
Myles Kennedy explains: “The term ‘Playing Aces’ ties in with the gambling analogy of risking everything regardless of how many times you’ve failed in life. It’s a last-ditch effort to come out on top.”
With over twenty years as one of rock’s most consistently acclaimed bands, ALTER BRIDGE continue to push forward. Renowned for their towering riffs, infectious melodies, and masterful guitar interplay, the quartet will release their self-titled eighth studio album on January 9, 2026 via Napalm Records.
Watch the Official Music Video For “Playing Aces” https://youtu.be/LKPGXoHVbMY
The forthcoming album features 12 brand-new tracks that capture some of the band’s most compelling work to date. Songs like “Rue The Day,” “Disregarded,” and “Scales Are Falling” stand tall alongside staples from the ALTER BRIDGE catalog. “Trust In Me” showcases the powerful vocal chemistry between Kennedy and Tremonti, with Myles taking lead on the verses and Mark commanding the chorus—an approach they flip on “Tested and Able,” one of the band’s heaviest introductions to date. “Hang By a Thread” is primed for the live stage, echoing the energy of fan-favorite anthems, while album closer “Slave to Master” delivers an epic finale and marks the longest track the band has ever recorded.
The first single, “Silent Divide,” continues its ascent at Active Rock and has already surpassed 4 million views on YouTube. Longtime producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette once again joins the band for the project, recorded over two months this spring at both the legendary 5150 Studios in California and at Elvis’ studio in Florida.

LAURA COX Releases New Music Video For “The Broken” From Her Latest Album “Trouble Coming”
French modern-rock artist Laura Cox unveils the brand-new music video for “The Broken”, one of the standout tracks from her current album “Trouble Coming”. The song, a high-energy blend of pop-rock intensity and emotional depth, now receives a gripping visual interpretation that elevates its message even further.
WATCH THE NEW MUSIC VIDEO “THE BROKEN” NOW https://youtu.be/ldTMeNa4OMo
What starts quietly soon erupts into a full emotional outburst, with Laura tearing the room apart in a moment of raw release. The chaos mirrors the song’s central themes: addiction, mental pressure, and the fragile line between suppressing your emotions and finally letting them break through.
As the track unfolds, the music cuts through the apathy around her. Beer bottles crash, glasses shatter, and everyone in the room stands on the edge of breaking their own patterns. “The Broken” is both a rallying cry and a mirror: catchy, melodic, fiercely energetic, yet unafraid to confront the darker corners beneath the surface.
With this video, Laura Cox once again proves why she’s one of Europe’s most exciting modern rock voices: blending intensity, authenticity, and undeniable hooks into a story that hits hard and stays. From high-octane guitar anthems to introspective slow-burners, “Trouble Coming” captures the spirit of a rock artist unafraid to evolve while staying true to her roots.

SAINT ERGO UNVEILS “THE BROKEN,” A CINEMATIC ANTHEM FOR THE UNSEEN
Melbourne’s genre-blurring storyteller Saint Ergo releases The Broken, the first single from her debut album Lived Experience on Thursday, December 11. Fusing R&B, Electro Soul and Baroque Pop, the 2024 Music Victoria Award winning artist crafts an expansive anthem inspired by the Horace Walpole quote: “The World is a comedy for those that think, a tragedy for those that feel.”
Bookended by the hum of Melbourne’s trams and the pulse of everyday life, The Broken dives unflinchingly into the pain, resilience and tenderness we so often overlook in each other. With soaring vocals and brutally honest lyricism, Saint Ergo transforms ordinary moments into cinematic revelations, calling listeners to witness the stories we’re taught not to see. Rooted in community, care and lived truth, Saint Ergo’s work explores gender, power, identity and the emotional texture of modern society. Her artistry resists the disposable pace of digital culture: all releases from this body of work, including The Broken, will be available exclusively on Bandcamp and physical formats, honouring a slower, more intentional relationship between artist and audience.
The Broken offers a bold glimpse into Lived Experience—a debut album that promises depth, courage and uncompromising queer beauty. Out on Thursday, December 11 via Bandcamp & physical formats ONLY.

Evie Williams Drifts Through Dreamy Uncertainty On ‘Heather Court’
Meanjin/Brisbane’s Evie Williams returns with ‘Heather Court’, a hazy indie folk-rock daydream. Shaped by loose drumming, laidback overdriven guitars and Evie’s dulcet vocals, she shares a story about the unsteady pulse of early adulthood.
Evie Williams has peppered releases across the years since her 2019 debut, exploring sounds that move through pop, country and indie folk. Highlights so far include being named a finalist for Brisbane City Council’s QUBE Effect, performing at Hidden Lanes Festival, supporting EMEREE and Tyla Jane and selling out her debut full-band show earlier this year.
Now with ‘Heather Court’, Evie leans into a moodier palette and turns inward, reflecting on her own tension between who she hoped to become and the reality she was living, a feeling she captures with raw honesty. Speaking on the single, she shares:
“‘Heather Court’ is a song about self-sabotage. It is the name of an old apartment block that I had visions of living in one day, with a beautiful balcony, a cat and a romanticised life. I would drive past and wonder how I would ever make a life like that, when I was going home to a mattress on the floor and my forgotten coffee on my desk. It highlights the feeling of wasted potential, the pearls on the dresser ready to be worn, but forgotten again.”
That bittersweet tension is found in the track’s warm, hazy production. With a mellow swing and a dreamy, slightly frayed edge, ‘Heather Court’ moves in a slow sway of fuzzy guitar layers and warm, feather-light vocals. The track toes the line between indie folk and psych rock with its lazy drum groove and drifting riffs as Evie’s voice threads through the haze of each verse and chorus.
A hypnotic bridge shifts into a pitter-patter spoken-word flow, with harmonies building over each other. With a sun-bleached warmth, the track carries a melancholic weight that can shift depending on the mood brought to it.
Capturing that tender space between dreaming big and finding a footing, ‘Heather Court’ is out now.

NIC CESTER (JET) Collaborates with Thomas Raggi (Måneskin) + Tom Morello on Lead Single ‘Getcha!’ From the New Album Masquerade
Jet frontman, Nic Cester, is today proud to be a part of the collaborative lead single ‘Getcha!’ alongside Thomas Raggi (Måneskin) and Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine) taken from Thomas Raggi’s new album Masquerade out now.
Originally born from a collaboration with Beck, who co-wrote the song, ‘Getcha!’ also features Chad Smith on drums, alongside Nic Cester’s contribution to lyrics and vocals.
“This was such a fun collaboration. I enjoyed the challenge of singing outside of my normal comfort zone,” says Nic about his involvement. “There were so many interesting and talented people involved in this song. I was really happy to be involved!”
Nic joined Thomas Raggi on stage to perform ‘Getcha!’ at the album launch for Masquerade late last week at world famous rock institute, LA’s Whiskey a Go Go.
The release of ‘Getcha!’ comes fresh off the back of Jet touring across Australia with Lenny Kravitz on the Blue Electric Light Tour throughout November. The shows were a true return to form for Jet with Rolling Stone stating, “We immediately get what we need from the Melbourne rockers” and Scenestr declaring, “The boys are back, but did they ever really go away?”.

TENILLE ARTS RELEASES NEW SINGLE ‘DON’T RUIN FLOWERS’ VIA ONERPM
Dreamcatcher Artists recently announced a partnership with ONErpm for Tenille Arts’ next album, and the first single and music video from the award-winning artist was released through the new relationship worldwide on Friday. The moving track, ‘Don’t Ruin Flowers‘ was written by Tenille with Ryan Kohn and Lydia Sutherland. Kohn also produced the track. The official music video was directed and shot by Joey Brodnax in Spring Hill, TN and is exclusively available on Tenille’s YouTube channel here.
“‘Don’t Ruin Flowers’ came at a time when I thought I had written every feeling of a breakup, and then this one hit me with a mix of sadness and strength”, said Tenille. “I think protecting beautiful things in your life is so important and flowers became the physical representation of that for me at a time when someone in my life was using flowers in place of apologies”.
Coming off a world tour supporting Luke Bryan and Walker Hayes, as well as her own AEG-backed headline run in the UK, Tenille Arts has been hard at work writing her next project. The full-length album announcement is planned for summer 2026.
Her single ‘Somebody Like That’ made history as the first, and still only, #1 Country song written, produced, and performed entirely by women. With a double platinum record, two gold records, and nearly one billion global streams to her name, Tenille is poised for the next chapter in her career.
ABOUT TENILLE ARTS:
Born and raised in the small prairie town of Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Tenille Arts picked up the guitar and penned her first song at age 13 and has been performing nonstop ever since. She has racked up nearly a billion streams and garnered over 750,000 digital followers in a relatively short period of time. Her critically-acclaimed Love, Heartbreak, & Everything In Between album yielded her first #1 single, ‘Somebody Like That’, which is certified double platinum. The single made history as the first #1 Country song written, produced and performed by all females and was the first Country song by a Canadian artist to reach #1 in the U.S. since 2007 and first Canadian female to hit #1 since Terri Clark in 2004. Her Girl To Girl album was released in 2021, and her ‘Back Then, Right Now’ single was her first to be released simultaneously in Canada and the U.S. Her 2024 14-song to be honest album leads with the stunning single, ‘So Do I’, written by Demi Lovato, Sasha Sloan, Laura Veltz and King Henry. In 2022, Tenille was nominated by the ACM Awards for New Female Artist of the Year, the iHeartRadio Music Awards for Best New Country Artist, the CMT Music Awards for Female Video and Breakthrough Video of the Year, and she won the MusicRow Award for “Breakthrough Artist of the Year” and the AIMP 2022 “Rising Artist-Writer of the Year Award.” In Canada, she won the Canadian Country Music Association’s “Rising Star Award,” she has taken home three SASK Music Awards and 18 trophies from the Saskatchewan Country Music Association including the “Female Artist Achievement Award.” She has made an unprecedented three appearances performing original songs on the top-rated ABC TV show The Bachelor and has performed on the TODAY Show, Kelly Clarkson Show and more.

DOWNGIRL Turn Fear Into Fury On ‘CPR’
Eora/Sydney femme-punk outfit DOWNGIRL return with ‘CPR’ and accompanying music video – a frantic burst of punk-driven fury that hits like a warning siren in the dark.
‘CPR’ is DOWNGIRL at their most volatile. Snarling, blown-out guitars crash against pounding drums, creating a wall of distortion that feels both feral and defiant. Alex Neville’s vocals slice through with venom and urgency, spilling frustration, adrenaline and the lingering panic of the night that inspired it. The result is a cathartic battle cry.
For all their ferocity on and off stage, DOWNGIRL are not immune to the same dangers that shadow so many women in male-dominated spaces. ‘CPR’ pulls its story from a gig gone wrong, a night far from home where the air felt wrong from the start.
Surrounded by drugged-up crowds and aggressive men, the band found themselves retreating into a tiny tent, clutching a baseball bat and waiting for daylight. Speaking on the track, the band states: “The song reflects the sense of being prey in someone else’s territory. There’s an unspoken understanding that you’re at their mercy, and many of us know that instinctive awareness of how easily we could become targets of male violence.”
The track channels that creeping terror, the instinctive awareness many women carry in spaces where power tilts the wrong way and safety feels conditional. It is a song born from survival and the unsettling realisation of how easily a night out can turn into something far darker.
DOWNGIRL want to be clear that real change begins with men taking responsibility for the environments they create, the behaviours they normalise, and the silence they allow. The track stands as a release of everything they carried that night and a reminder that safety should never be a privilege earned but a condition upheld by everyone.
For the music video, DOWNGIRL wanted to reclaim that fear and flip it on its head by creating a space rooted in strength, pride, and community. They centred queer joy and safety, featuring Dykes on Bikes as a symbol of power and solidarity. Directed and shot by Tim Kent (they/them), the clip celebrates the protective, vibrant spaces queer communities build, the places where DOWNGIRL feel like they can breathe easy.
With ‘CPR’, DOWNGIRL transform fear into fire, taking back the space that danger once occupied. Refusing to shrink themselves for anyone, ‘CPR’ and its accompanying music video are out now.
