Jake Banfield is set to make his Australian live debut in January 2026 with The Lasso Australian Tour, a tightly packed run of shows that reflects the rapid rise of one of country music’s most talked-about new voices. Fresh from the breakout success of his single “Lasso”, which has found a huge audience in Australia and topped local country radio charts, Banfield will bring his genre-blurring sound to Melbourne, regional Victoria, Sydney, Tamworth and Brisbane across six dates.
The tour opens at Melbourne’s Northcote Social Club before heading down the coast to Torquay, then north to Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory, the Diggers Showroom in Tamworth and finishing at Lefty’s Music Hall in Brisbane. It’s a smart mix of capital city rooms and key regional hubs, underlining both Banfield’s crossover appeal and his strong connection to the country heartland.
Banfield’s music sits comfortably between modern country storytelling and contemporary pop production, often weaving in hip-hop rhythms and introspective lyricism.
