MUKI Debuts With Slow-Burning Single ‘Gasoline’

MUKI (pronounced mʊk – ee) makes his first impression with ‘Gasoline’, an emotionally charged indie pop and folk-leaning debut.

Born in Dubai with Indian roots, the now Naarm/Melbourne-based Mukul Jiwnani has built his life around making and performing music. A full-time performer, ‘Gasoline’ marks his official debut under the MUKI moniker, a project shaped slowly and deliberately after years of writing, refining, and searching for the right moment to step forward.

‘Gasoline’ unfolds with a gentle sense of space and restraint. Layers of finger-picked electric guitar sit against a spacious kick drum and a hypnotising, echoed snare. While piano drifts through the arrangement to create a lush, dreamlike atmosphere, subtle guitar licks and warm bass lines add colour without crowding the song.

MUKI’s vocals move between intimacy and emotional release, shifting from wispy softness to impassioned cries and airy falsetto, before opening out into a chorus lifted by layered, choir-like harmonies that wrap the song in warmth.   The result is a loving, immersive intensity that feels deeply personal.

Captured in its slow-burning, impassioned sound, ‘Gasoline’ reflects on the aftermath of a relationship where love has faded, and acceptance begins to take its place. It captures the moment when holding on no longer makes sense, even while the feeling still lingers. Speaking on the single, MUKI shares:

“’Gasoline’ is my debut single as MUKI, and it’s deeply personal. With ‘Gasoline’, I wanted to capture the tension of a relationship that wouldn’t survive despite every effort. It’s a breakup song, but one about acceptance and moving on.”

Kaliopi & The Blues Messengers ‘One Woman One Love’ (SINGLE)

Following the critical and international success of “How The Caged Bird Sings” — nominated for Best Blues Song at the 2025 VIC/TAS MBAS Awards — Kaliopi & The Blues Messengers return with a bold, groove-laden new single, “One Woman One Love.”

Where “How The Caged Bird Sings” explored resilience and liberation through introspection and restraint, “One Woman One Love” steps forward with authority, movement, and emotional confrontation. It is a vibrant, upbeat shuffle that wrestles with devotion as both salvation and risk — love as freedom, and love as captivity.

The forthcoming release follows widespread acclaim for “How The Caged Bird Sings,” described as:

A soulful blues journey of resilience and rebirth.” — DULAXI Music Entertainment (LA, USA)

“Her voice is tender and piercingly emotional… musically, it’s a sublime piece of blues.” — Good Music Radar (Netherlands)

“It’s a song that shakes the dust off your spirit.” — Apricot Magazine (NY, USA)

“Vocals, Hammond and guitar beautifully in sync.” — Ian Ross, Blues With a Feeling (3CR)

“One Woman One Love” was recorded at Woodstock Studios, Melbourne by Richard Stolz, mixed and mastered by Sean O’Sullivan (Highway No. 9 Productions), and produced by Double Trouble Blues Sessions.

With this release, Kaliopi & The Blues Messengers continue to solidify their place as one of Australia’s most compelling contemporary blues acts — fearless in storytelling, deeply musical, and unafraid to sit in the tension where love, devotion, and truth collide.

The release will be celebrated with a special live show Friday, February 13 at the Kew Courthouse Auditorium, featuring two immersive sets with projected images and video, followed by an afternoon performance on Sunday February 22 at the Dutch Club, Carnegie, with Dan Dinnan opening the show.

Textures have shared their long-awaited new album today, Genotype, alongside a new video for the track ‘Measuring The Heavens’.

Coinciding with the album release is Textures’ European tour with progressive metallers Jinjer, kicking off today in Cologne. Speaking on the new video in no uncertain terms, Stef Broks from the band shared –

“A big part of songwriting is to tease the listener to a climax as long possible. In this case, we’re building up tension for 6 minutes to finally kick you in the nuts and leaves you naked in the desert with your calculator still in hand. Measuring The Heavens may not be for mortals.”

Lyrically, the album speaks to the unheard – introverts, outsiders, and those navigating internal worlds that often go unseen, standing as an ode to authenticity and resilience.

THE HU Release Thunderous New Song “The Real You” Via Better Noise Music

Innovative Mongolian rock group and global phenomenon The HU continue to push the limits of rock and bring the world along with them on their latest single “The Real You,” via Better Noise Music.

With this new song, they’re bringing Western music components to the forefront with a heavy, atmospheric sound, a hard-charging rhythm, and gritty and positively menacing vocals. The track takes their Hunnu Rock, which blends traditional Mongolian instrumentation and throat singing with contemporary rock music, to an entirely new and breathtaking level.

“The Real You” was produced by Dashka (Dashdondog Bayarmagnai) and mixed by 5-time Grammy Award-winning producer, engineer, mixer, and musician Chris Lord-Alge.

The Real You is available on all digital outlets https://thehu.lnk.to/realyou

Watch the video https://youtu.be/wQpG6NX3tnc

“‘The Real You’ single is the representation of our forthcoming new album,” says The HU’s Temka (tovshuur player, throat singer). “While we have traditional songs that have our signature rhythm in our third album, there are few upbeat, fast songs such as this single. We recorded this song thinking of our ancestors, riding fast on the horse back through the landscape. Listen to this song to express the feelings you have buried inside and feel the overwhelming energy we pass through to you. Enjoy!”

“The Real You” is asking listeners to not judge others but focus on themselves and therefore become a better person. It’s derived from the Mongolian proverb, “Don’t worry about what is on top of a person’s head, just worry about what is not on yours.” “The Real You” is sung in Mongolian, but listeners can feel the depth of its emotion and the ferocity of its intent with unflinching lyrics like “Will you keep slandering, gaslighting, menacing, and abusing?/Is it alright to keep enduring, fearing, and hiding?”

The HU have passionately and unforgettably brought Mongolian music to the music frontlines. In November 2022, The HU became the first-ever rock/metal band to receive the prestigious UNESCO “Artist for Peace” Designation at UNESCO’s headquarters in Paris, France by UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay. Previous recipients include Celine Dion, Shirley Bassey, Sarah Brightman, Herbie Hancock, Marcus Miller, and World Orchestra For Peace. With over 961 million all-time streams, 483 million video views, #1 charting albums, multiple sold-out headlining tours, prestigious government honors and awards, collaborations with several of rock’s biggest names, and featured music on video games including EA Games’ Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, THE HU have cemented their status as a global powerhouse.

THE RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS To Release Deluxe Edition Of Sixth Studio Album ‘X’s For Eyes’ On March 6. New Video For “Angels Cry” Out Now via Better Noise Music

Alternative rock mainstays The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus are excited to announce the deluxe edition of their sixth album, X’s For Eyes, due out March 6 via Better Noise Music.

Pre-orders are available now at https://rja.lnk.to/xsdeluxe

The band have also shared “Angels Cry,” a new, unreleased track.

Listen to “Angels Cry” at https://rja.lnk.to/angelscry

Watch the video, directed by Shane Drake at Say So Pictures with additional production by Michael Lombardi from Better Noise at https://youtu.be/hbTf53oYql0

Singer and frontman Ronnie Winter describes “Angels Cry” as “a bittersweet story of love and loss in early teenage years. As an adult, I’ve learned these things are natural, but when you are young it feels like the end of the world. Turns out it was just the beginning.”

Originally released on October 3, 2025 via Better Noise Music, the 11 songs on X’s For Eyes find the band revving up their caffeinated pop sensibilities, throwing down the punishing riffola, delivering more electronic and ambient flourishes, and topping all of it off with Winter’s high-pitched emoting. Factor in some hair-raising cameos from Sleeping With Sirens’ Kellin Quinn (“Always The King”) and Escape The Fate frontman Craig Mabbitt (“Worth It”) and the result is genuinely RJA’s most strident full-length offering yet.

Formed in 2004 in Jacksonville, FL, the band has accrued Gold and multi-Platinum singles—including their massive 5x Platinum hit single “Face Down” (which has over 176 million views on YouTube), 2x Platinum “Your Guardian Angel” (which has over 37 million views on YouTube)—and 2x Platinum-certified debut album, DON’T YOU FAKE IT, alongside numerous high-ranking radio chart positions and a robust digital history of over 1.5 billion career streams. Sometimes it’s hard to believe that THE RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS began their expedition into the hearts and minds of a generation 20 years ago. Their blazing 2006 single “Face Down” delivered both anthemic choruses and a strident message about domestic abuse, achieving both sales accolades and adoration from crowds all over the planet.

Here’s the track listing for the X’s For Eyes deluxe edition:
Always The King (feat Kellin Quinn)
Purple Halo
Perfection
X’s for Eyes
Bad Beat
Slipping Through (No Kings)
Angels Cry
Home Improvement
Twenty Hour Drive
Kins and Carroll
Getting By
Worth It (feat. Craig Mabbitt)

Local the Neighbour Releases Heartfelt New Single ‘Hard’

Melbourne-based artist Local the Neighbour, the creative project of David Quested, is set to release his highly anticipated new single, Hard. The track captures the delicate balance between chasing your dreams and missing home, exploring the sacrifices that come with pursuing a life in music. Through soaring melodies and reflective lyrics, Hard is an intimate look at the moments when ambition and nostalgia collide, showing that chasing the dream is ‘hard’ and not for the faint of heart.

“This song came from a place of missing home while trying to forge my path in music,” David explains. “It’s about the struggle and the small things you cling to when life gets tough. Being brave isn’t always easy, and this track reflects the hard decisions and emotional weight that comes with chasing something you love.”

The accompanying music video extends these themes visually, drawing on David’s childhood growing up in rural Queensland where dirt bikes and weekends spent riding around paddocks with friends formed some of his most vivid memories. Rooted in homesickness and nostalgia, the clip pairs personal history with the Australian landscape David still feels deeply connected to. Directed by Shan Flanders and shot by Tom Dunphy with the help of Christy Chudosnik, the video was filmed across Melbourne’s far northern suburbs at an MX park and surrounding industrial locations, capturing a strong sense of community that reflects what David values most both personally and creatively.

Local the Neighbour is the ultimate outlet for David Quested to explore production and songwriting beyond his roots as a drummer. Originally from Darwin, Northern Territory, David moved to Melbourne to study jazz drumming at the Victorian College of the Arts and later at UCLA, learning from jazz greats such as Jeff ‘Tain’ Watts, John Riley, and Clayton Cameron. After performing with ARIA-winning jazz musicians and touring internationally as a session player, David made a deliberate “jexit” from jazz to return to the rock and indie sounds of his youth, inspired by bands like Blink-182 and Paramore.

Since then, Local the Neighbour has built a strong DIY practice, recording and producing music with close friends and drawing influence from artists like Alex G, MJ Lenderman, Hovvdy, and Slow Pulp. Previous single Preacher gained widespread recognition, earning placements on 12 editorial playlists, including Spotify’s All New Indie, New Music Friday AU & NZ, Indie Twang, and Apple Music’s New Music Daily, alongside editorial support from Rolling Stone AU/NZ, Amnplify, Skope Mag, The AU Review, and The Point Music News. Local the Neighbour’s music has also received international radio support from stations such as KEXP, RADIOK770, and WNRN, as well as Unearthed First Play, Double J rotation, and FBi rotation in Australia.

With extensive live experience supporting acts like US outfit Real Estate and performing at St Kilda Festival, Local the Neighbour continues to carve out a distinct space in the indie-rock scene. Hard marks another milestone in his journey, marrying his rich musical background with heartfelt songwriting to deliver a track that is both deeply personal and universally relatable.

GUV Shares New Single/Video “Blue Jade“. New Album Warmer Than Gold Due Out January 30 via Run For Cover Records / Civilians

Preorders available now

GUV (the long-running, ever-changing, and reliably fantastic project of songwriter extraordinaire, Ben Cook) is releasing his new album, Warmer Than Gold, this Friday January 30th via Run For Cover Records/Civilians…and he’s sharing one more early single, the punchy shoegaze of “Blue Jade.”

Warmer Than Gold evolves Cook’s hooky guitar pop in new directions. Earlier singles “Warmer Than Gold” and “Let Your Hands Go” leaned into danceable beats, “Chasin’ Luv” was a dose of C86 jangle, and now “Blue Jade” smears GUV’s hummable melodies with layers of old school shoegaze shine.

PREORDER WARMER THAN GOLD

Cook discussed the track saying: “For this song, we were thinking about these last few years of the shoegaze wave alongside classic records by MBV and Chapterhouse, but with the aim of pushing it somewhere punk and more driving. The idea was to make it like a Blitz or Oi! record but bury it under a wall of guitars and texture. Most of the vocal melodies came together while the guitars were being tracked, quietly singing them into my phone. I took the instrumentals from the sessions at Max Epstein’s studio in LA back to London and recorded the vocals quickly in my uncle’s apartment, keeping it low so I wouldn’t disturb the neighbors.”

Warmer Than Gold was made with the help of an all-star cast of creatives, including contributions from James Matthew Seven, Darcy Baylis, Hatchie, Meg Mills of Turnstile, and many more. It’s a record of unstoppable musical motion, effortlessly blending elements of Britpop, baggy, classic indie pop, and first wave shoegaze through Cook’s unique lens. The result is an album that feels in conversation with the entirety of his musical journey—a set of songs whose roots go all the way back to his childhood growing up in between Toronto and England, and travel through his prolific years as Young Guv (“I’m not so young anymore, three letter band names are cool, and I’m tired of being mistaken as a rapper,” he says of the name adjustment), arriving in the present with perhaps the best work of his career.

NERVOSA Announces New Album via Napalm Records – Slave Machine Releases April 3. Crushing Title Track, “Slave Machine”, Out Now

Metal heroines NERVOSA announce their new album: Slave Machine will be unleashed on April 3, 2026 via Napalm Records! Their sixth album shows the Brazil-based modern thrash metal band releasing their inner beasts at staggering speed and with formidable emphasis. Having performed at the biggest metal festivals worldwide, from Wacken to Hellfest, and making a lasting impression on fans and critics alike, NERVOSA aims to consolidate their standing as genre frontrunners. With founding guitarist Prika Amaral established as their new singer with their previous record, Jailbreak (2023), they tear through the scene with the force of a sledgehammer.

Once again working with producer Martin Furia of German legends DESTRUCTION, the women bridge the gap between old-school power and critical modernity. Slave Machine adds twelve fiery songs to NERVOSA’s repertoire and is available for pre-order now!

Along with the announcement, NERVOSA release the title track of the upcoming record. “Slave Machine” serves as a perfect first harbinger of the fury the Brazilian group is about to unleash on the world: instantly turning up the speed and showing a slightly different side of the thrash band with a catchy alternative bridge, the crushing track kicks off a new era for NERVOSA!

NERVOSA about “Slave Machine”:

“This song is everything that we want to say and play, many different vocal layers and guitar melodies like a scream to say that we are all part of the ‘Slave Machine’.”

Watch the Official Music Video for “Slave Machine” https://youtu.be/-bOpQD6eJnY

NERVOSA erupts as a metal volcano with their latest record. Never settling, always exploring, one staggering riff after another, Slave Machine is a crushing statement—it comes, sees, and conquers.

NERVOSA about Slave Machine: “Slave Machine is the most brutal and melodic album of NERVOSA, and we are proud to take this step further, keeping our roots.”

Twelve new songs show the five-piece exploring their crushing style in an enhanced way. Opening “Impending Doom” builds up menacingly, using thunderous riffs and jagged drums to establish the women’s dominance in the scene. The title track, “Slave Machine”, instantly turns up the speed and adds a surprising alternative bridge to the already catchy chorus, showing a slightly different side of the metal powerhouses. The following “Ghost Notes” unleashes a storm of heavy, yet easily recognizable riffs, driven by impelling drums and the ever-so-furious vocals of Prika Amaral, crowned by an astounding guitar solo. Through “Beast Of Burden”, NERVOSA shows their harshest side, while “You Are Not A Hero” offers a grand chorus, gifting Slave Machine a true anthem. “Hate” unfolds with raw brutality, and “The New Empire” looks for destruction with melodic precision. “30 Seconds” rises up to new heights, while “Crawl For Your Pride” combines NERVOSA’s trademark social criticism with gut-punching songwriting. Throughout “Learn Or Repeat” and “The Call”, the band once again sprinkles in some pieces of modern groove with old-school vibes before Slave Machine rears up one final time on the threateningly sinister “Speak In Fire”.

EDGE OF PARADISE Unveil Official Video for “Martyr (Monster)” . Latest Album, Prophecy, Out Now

Los Angeles–based cinematic hard rock visionaries EDGE OF PARADISE unveil a striking new music video for “Martyr (Monster)”, cut from last year’s smash hit album Prophecy. Delving deeper into the band’s immersive sci-fi universe, the narrative-driven visual experience features the first performance of new keyboardist, Alex Nasla, and a second act that reimagines the song as an instrumental, musically expanding upon its initial appearance on Prophecy.

This instrumental reimagining directly accompanies the release of “Hologram and Slaves to Forever”’s the band’s graphic novel, upcoming audiobook, heightening the emotional themes of consciousness, control, and humanity in an increasingly digital world. EDGE OF PARADISE channels their inner William Gibson, inviting fans into their narratively confrontational dystopia.

EDGE OF PARADISE frontwoman Margarita Monet says this about the new video and expanded track:

“This song is about realizing you can either surrender to the system that shapes you or reclaim your own identity. Perspective decides whether you’re seen as a martyr or a monster, I believe both live within us. But the power lies in choosing which one you allow to define your reality. The video expands that idea visually, exploring fractured possibilities, perspective, and what it means to stay human in an increasingly artificial and controlled world.”

Monet add about the addition of New Keyboardist Alex Nasla “We are also very excited to welcome Alex Nasla to the band, as he extends the cinematic sound even more! In the song, each member carries a moment that pushes the story forward. Alex Nasla’s keyboard solo marks the beginning of a shift, and in the instrumental version they explode into something far more expansive, like stepping into a larger reality. Doug Weiand’s solo brings vulnerability and tension, and then Dave Bate’s lead hits with intensity and resolve. Anchored by the drive of Jamie Moreno and Kenny Lockwood, the song follows the same arc as its message, evolution through choice…”

Hot off several North American tours supporting labelmates Delain and Xandria, and Japanese metal sensation Lovebites, the video arrives alongside several premier festivals internationally, including headline performances on February 7 at Fire It Up Festival  in Garden Grove, CA, and April 17 at Hyperspace Metal Fest in Vancouver, BC Canada, as well as a performance at Rock in Rautheim in Braunschweig, DE, with more live dates to be announced soon!

Check out the Official Music Video for “Martyr (Monster)” vhttps://youtu.be/GtHYeuZpXbA

Prophecy kicks off in explosive fashion with opening track “Death Note”, a bombastic crash through apathetic walls encouraging listeners to break free from their technological isolation, and embrace connection with others over numb comfort alone. “Give It To Me (Mind Assassin)”, cranks up the intensity with an irresistible driving pulse propelled even further by an infectiously dancy chorus. A raucous fight for authenticity and self-realization, “Prophecy Unbound” careens through claustrophobically tight riffage, blossoming into a lush and cathartic belt-along chorus. The winding serpentine melodies of “Falling Light” explode with Monet’s venomous soaring vocals, dancing around ethereal synth textures, enveloping listeners in a sonic gothic cathedral. Released earlier this year, lead single “Rogue (Aim For The Kill)”, is a full throttle industrial rock track about perseverance in the face of seeming unbeatable adversity. “The Other Side of Fear” is an energized rager built on pulsating dance beats and features a standout guitar solo from composer and commander in shred Dave Bates. Prophecy takes a stand against indifference, encouraging listeners to go outside, cry, and embrace all the uncomfortable parts of life that make us human, before apathetic comfort, driven by addictive algorithms bring about our demise.

Co-produced with Mike Plotnikoff (Nita Strauss, Apocalyptica, Daughtry, Three Days Grace), mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen (Amaranthe, Arch Enemy, Katatonia, Delain, Evergrey), and incorporated for the first time, 8-string guitars, Prophecy packs extreme firepower for EDGE OF PARADISE’s most intense voyage yet.

With “The Unknown” recently appearing in the film, The Complete Course of Howard French, directed by the award winning Gustavo Sampaio, EDGE OF PARADISE continues to find new and innovative places to surprise their throngs of devotees!

“Superheaven turned an ordinary concert into a sonic landslide.” Get Some Magazine
“Angel Du$t get the crowd so damn high they lose their fucking minds.” Thrasher Magazine

Superheaven will bring their post-hardcore grit, full-bodied and fuzzed-out distortion and hazy alternative melodies to Australia this April/May. With special guests, Angel Du$t, the tour pairs two of the most potent forces in the grunge revival and melodic hardcore together for one seismic tour.

Delivering fuzzed-out sonics, cathartic hooks and unyielding momentum that bridges ’90s alt-rock grit with the current wave of punk re-innovation, Superheaven are pure, raw emotion and driven energy. Formed from the ashes of Daylight in 2014, Superheaven have carved out a sound of post-hardcore heft and hazy melodies. Their 2015 breakthrough Ours Is Chrome earned a spot on Brooklyn Vegan’s “50 Best Punk & Emo Albums: 2015-2019,” while tracks like “Poor Aileen” landed them spots on festivals from Outbreak to Sick New World.

The bands streaming numbers are insane with “Youngest Daughter” well over the 200 million mark and their entire catalogue nudging half a billion!

Angel Du$t, have evolved from hardcore roots via frontman Justice Tripp’s time in
Trapped Under Ice into a genre-bending monster. Blending d-beat fury with pop hooks on records like A.D., Pretty Buff, and the highly acclaimed, Brand New Soul. A linchpin for the new generation, their eclectic spirit echoes the likes of Bad Brains while keeping things firmly fresh and updated. Blazing a trail for the next wave of aggressive artists to branch out into unabashedly melodic territory.

Tripp’s work is marked by an ever-evolving creativity that’s made him highly influential, but which has often put him a number of steps ahead of the very trends that he’s helped to inspire. Now Angel Du$t fearless and open-hearted tribute to all things rock, sees them right on the cutting edge. Tripp might forever be keeping an eye on the future, but Angel Du$t’s time is now!

Live, Superheaven’s shows unfold like a droning conversation among friends, muscular riffs underpin walls of feedback that effortlessly slide into hypnotic jams that leave rooms humming.
Angel Du$t, by contrast, is pure controlled chaos, a whirlwind of stage dives and singalongs that turns every room into a collective fever dream.

Together, both acts will give fans an evening of intensity like they rarely experience, trading the weight of isolation anthems for the joy of collective release.

These shows will be Superheaven’s first Australian dates in over a decade after recently returning from an extended hiatus and this tour marks a rare collision for two bands at the peak of their powers, redefining what a modern rock bill can feel like.

ANUJAYOUR STRANGER’ (SINGLE)
Sri Lankan-born, Naarm-based singer-songwriter and producer, ANUJA, unveils his Dream Pop single, ‘Your Stranger’

Introducing Sri Lankan-born, Australian based singer-songwriter and producer ANUJA, who is set to release his new single, ‘Your Stranger’, on Wednesday 28 January. This dream pop track offers a romantic exploration of existentialism, focusing on the dynamic between presence and eternity in a loving relationship. ‘Your Stranger’ is a romantic take on letting go of the search for cosmic certainty, instead celebrating the tangible value of the present moment spent with the person you love.

‘Your Stranger’ was recorded and self-produced by ANUJA in his home studio, capturing the intimate message of the track amongst his ethereal voice-forward production. Making music primarily in English, glimpses of Sri Lankan music he grew up with grace his melodies and vocal riffs. ‘This song is a conversation between two lovers. It’s one person saying, I don’t know what will happen between us in the bigger sense; whether we’ll go to heaven, whether there’s reincarnation or rebirth, whether we’re twin flames or soulmates. I don’t know. But what I do know is that in this moment, we’re together’ – ANUJA

Stream ‘Your Stranger’ – Out Now

A self-taught musician and producer, ANUJA records, produces, and mixes all his music from the intimacy of his home studio while balancing a career as a doctor. Growing his career across Naarm’s vibrant music scene and songwriting circles, ANUJA has built a loyal fanbase drawn to his poetic lyricism and cinematic production.  ‘I am also a doctor, balancing a medical and music career. It can be challenging to manage time between the two disciplines, but I try. I am aiming to specialise in psychiatry. Perhaps, subconsciously, my day-to-day exposure to human vulnerability and mortality finds its way to my lyrics.’ – ANUJA

Get swept up in the ethereal sounds of ANUJA’s voice in this new single, ‘Your Stranger’

TOM MISCH ANNOUNCES SOPHOMORE ALBUM ‘FULL CIRCLE’

OUT FRIDAY 27 MARCH VIA BEYOND THE GROOVE / AWAL RECORDINGS

“SISTERS WITH ME” TODAY

Tom Misch’s long-awaited sophomore album Full Circle finds the London-based artist, songwriter and producer at his most personal and honest. The new album explores the stories and moments that have shaped him over the last four years: family, friendships, nature and celebrates the work of finding his way back to himself. Made during time spent between London, Cornwall, Portugal and Nashville, Full Circle will be out Friday 27 March via Beyond The Groove / AWAL Recordings and was born from a period of necessary pause which gave Tom the space to rebuild his relationship with music.

Since first emerging in 2012 through his early SoundCloud releases, Tom Misch’s music has helped define a generation of bedroom producers and artists. Across two Beat Tapes and his critically acclaimed debut Geography, which charted at #8 and is now BPI certified Gold, Tom has established himself as a singular British voice in music. Geography’s success also led to sold-out shows worldwide, including London’s Brixton Academy, while his instinctive approach to collaboration has remained central, from EPs with long-time creative partner Loyle Carner, to the Ivor Novello–nominated What Kinda Music with Yussef Dayes which entered the UK Official Charts at #4. More recently, his Supershy alter ego has offered another outlet for exploration, extending his curiosity into club-focused territory. His album Happy Music saw an outpour of support here in Australia from Triple J, Double J, a feature album from SYN FM and further community radio love from fbi radio, PBS FM and so much more. However, behind the scenes of this success, Tom was facing periods of extreme anxiety that forced him to slow down, step away and turn inward. Tom sought reconnection through surfing, nature and time away from the studio – experiences that helped shape the emotional language of Full Circle. When he returned to making music, it was without pressure or expectation, working with a close circle of friends and new collaborators, and focusing on songs that tell the truth.

Across Full Circle, Tom has deliberately moved away from production-led music-making, stepping out of Logic Pro to focus on classic song writing that works when played on piano or guitar, or expanded with a full band. That shift toward songcraft, rather than studio technique, became the defining starting point for the album. Tom worked closely with artist and songwriter Matt Maltese, who co-wrote a number of songs on the record, alongside Ian Fitchuk, who developed much of the material in Nashville and Adam Jaffrey, a key collaborator during the album’s earliest stages. Tom used a vintage U47 microphone throughout, allowing his vocals to be forward and full body. While much of the album was run to tape with a clear intention to achieve specific sounds inspired by the warmth and clarity of ’70s hi-fi records. Sonically and creatively, the project draws from the songwriting and textures of artists like Fleetwood Mac, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, John Martyn and John Taylor balancing classic fidelity with an intimate, understated feel. There was also a commitment throughout to capturing live takes, minimising comping, and preserving the raw spontaneity of performance. Quiet, double-tracked vocals and low-fi touches nod to J.J. Cale’s subtle approach, all in service of something classic and alive in the moment.

Accompanying the announcement of Full Circle is new single “Sisters With Me”, a song that emerged during a rare period when Tom was living with his sisters, in their family home for the first time as adults. It was a time that felt both challenging and unexpectedly beautiful. Tom reflects, “it wasn’t my intention to write anything like that but it was probably a bit of subconscious creativity with everything that was going on.”

“Sisters With Me” is carried by a probing guitar line which let’s space shape the performance. The release is marked by the debut music video from photographer and filmmaker Juliet Klottrup, whose work documenting female and non-binary skateboarders in the North of England (Skate Like a Lass) earned her a Sony Future Filmmaker award. For the “Sisters With Me” video, Juliet documents relationships between sisters and their siblings in their most honest form. Through a series of short vignettes, captured with a raw and unprocessed eye, the film offers an intimate glimpse into the stories and connections within families.

Ahead of the announcement of Full Circle, Tom had already begun to set the tone for this new era through standalone singles “Old Man” and “Red Moon” gaining airplay from RTR FM, PBS FM, Triple R and more. “Old Man” is built around guitar and voice, exploring his relationship with family and the existential weight of getting older, themes echoed throughout Full Circle. “Red Moon”, by contrast, leans into a deeper groove, drawing on the warmth and physicality of 60s and 70s classic recordings – a time in music which has hugely influenced the feel of Full Circle.

While Full Circle contends with some of the quieter moments from the last four years, it remains optimistic and effortlessly listenable, anchored by unadorned vocals and a warm, analogue sound. The beauty of Full Circle lies in the universality of its lyrics, inviting listeners to inhabit Tom’s world or trace their own path within it. Full Circle stands as both a reflection of his journey and a statement of ongoing evolution, honouring his past while pointing toward new directions in an ever-unfolding creative story.

BLUSH UNLEASH FIERCE NEW SINGLE & VIDEO ‘EMBARRASSED 4 U’ AHEAD OF NATIONAL TOUR DATES
LISTEN HERE & WATCH HERE

Perth (Boorloo) four-piece Blush return with their ferocious new single ‘EMBARRASSED 4 U’, a high-energy, cathartic anthem that leans into the rawest edge of the band’s sound.

LISTEN TO SINGLE HERE

Produced by Andy Lawson (Ra Ra Viper, Death By Denim) at Debaser Studio, the track channels unfiltered feminine rage through heavy guitars, biting humour and explosive release.

Lyrically, ‘EMBARRASSED 4 U’, is an unapologetic reckoning with how the band believe they’re perceived by the world, “too loud, too overwhelming, too much”, flipping judgement into power with sharp self-awareness and defiant confidence. Delivered with a playful spoken-word swagger, the track nods to the satirical bite of Wet Leg, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, and Amyl and the Sniffers, while retaining Blush’s signature grit and emotional weight.

The accompanying music video, perfectly captured and directed by Stephanie Senior, doubles down on the song’s confrontational humour and catharsis, bringing the band’s irreverent energy and sharp self-mythology to life on screen.

WATCH THE VIDEO HERE

Set on a theatrical stage before a disapproving audience, the band confront exaggerated versions of themselves, shouting the lyrics back as a sharp metaphor for the inner critic. As the scenes unravel, from controlled dinner-table dynamics to escalating chaos, the video moves from tension to release, exposing the absurdity of self-critical thought patterns and offering a light-hearted yet honest reminder that these voices only hold power when we believe them.

The latest release follows a rapid rise for Blush since forming in mid-2024. Their debut single ‘Watch You Bleed’ was named RTRFM’s Most Played Track of October 2025, surpassed 10,000 streams in its first month, and picked up Triple J Unearthed support. The single launch sold out Mojo’s Bar Fremantle, doubling as the band’s debut headline show.

In under a year, Blush have secured support slots with Fool Nelson, Sly Withers, Great Gable, The Terrys, Noah Dillon and Ullah, alongside festival appearances at Fool Fest, Spaced Out Festival, Sidefest.

Hot on the heels of the new single, the band will head east for a run of shows across Sydney and Melbourne, plus a coveted slot at Party in the Paddock (TAS) alongside Ocean Alley, The Veronicas, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Ball Park Music, before bringing it home with their own ‘EMBARRASSED 4 U’ Mini Fest in Fremantle with Gloss, Navy June and The Points.

Channelling the emotional ferocity of Wolf Alice, Mannequin Pussy and Hole, Blush fuse heavy guitars with haunting melodies and visceral storytelling, fast establishing themselves as one of Western Australia’s most exciting new voices in alternative rock.

With more singles and an EP in development, ‘EMBARRASSED 4 U’, marks a bold next chapter –  louder, sharper, and completely unapologetic.

Belle Morte Unveils Acoustic Premiere of Fan-Favorite “Mercy”

Symphonic gothic metal project Belle Morte announces the release of a new acoustic music video for their debut single Mercy..

Originally released on December 9, 2017, Mercy was the first song the band ever put out and holds a special place in their history. Since its debut, the track has remained a fan favorite, and listeners have frequently expressed interest in hearing it reimagined in a stripped-back format.

The new arrangement presents Mercy with piano and acoustic guitar, offering a more intimate and reflective take on the song while retaining the emotional core that made the original memorable. For the band, revisiting Mercy carries a sense of nostalgia and connection to the start of their creative journey.

KARNIVOOL ANNOUNCE NEW SINGLE “ANIMATION” + ACOUSTIC ALBUM LAUNCH PARTIES

Not long now until Karnivool release their eagerly awaited new album, In Verses. In anticipation of the album’s arrival next Friday, the Perth icons have revealed their latest single, “Animation”, and announced a run of acoustic launch parties around the country during release week.

To celebrate the arrival of their fourth album, Karnivool will hold intimate launch parties in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth. The band will play a short acoustic set showcasing some new tunes and old favourites, have a chat and sign some records and exclusive merch for folks who have been waiting for this record for over a decade. It’s a format they haven’t done before in Australia, and the last time they played acoustic was 14 years ago in Mumbai. Tickets go on sale January 28 and they won’t last long.

Ahead of In Verses landing on February 6, Karnivool has gifted us with “Animation”. One of the first songs to come together for the album, “Animation” was born whilst the band were hard at work on “All It Takes”. With wide open verses that give way to fuzzed-out choruses and unbridled rhythmic intensity and groove, it’s one of the standout moments of the record.

“Animation leans into new space found within the rhythm section. It holds the pulse of In Verses—tight, detailed, tense. It reflects the frustration, the renewal, and the search for light that runs through the record, all while staying true to our sound.” – Karnivool

Born out of relentless experimentation in their Perth studio with longtime collaborator Forrester Savell, the road to Karnivool’s fourth studio record has not been linear nor straightforward – just like the music they create.

In Verses is a culmination of the last decade of life experiences that have brought Karnivool to this point. Meticulously formed and delivered, the album’s ten tracks journey collective feelings of frustration, catharsis and a rediscovery of identity. In Verses not only provides a fitting moment of reintroduction for longtime and casual Karnivool fans but for newcomers, the new album marks a striking gateway to a body of work built on an intense love for the craft.

Over the past 20 years, Karnivool have cemented their status as one of Australia’s most influential hard rock bands. Their ever-unique approach to heavy and progressive music has delivered three acclaimed and platinum-certified records: Themata (2005), its groundbreaking follow-up, Sound Awake (2009) and ARIA award-winning #1 album Asymmetry (2013). As one of the most vital forces in progressive music globally, Karnivool have spent the intervening years catering to their ever-expanding fanbase, playing everywhere from Melbourne to Moscow, Sofia to Sydney, Pune to Perth. Highlights include a sold-out show at London’s Roundhouse to 3000 fans, gigs in South Africa, India and Dubai, appearances at Download, Hellfest and sold-out tours on home soil.

Melbourne alternative outfit ALL REGARDS return with apocalyptic single ‘discontent’

Double single launch show set for March 27 at Melbourne’s Workers Club

Following an unforgettable sold out launch show for their debut EP in late 2024, Melbourne/Gippsland outfit All Regards have spent the past year working towards their next chapter. Influenced by the state of the world and the mundanity of everyday life, the band channeled feelings of anxiety, apathy, and angst into writing their next two releases – ‘discontent’, out today, and ‘resist’, set to follow in the coming months. Stream ‘discontent’ now on Apple MusicSpotifyAmazon Music, and more.

Talking about the new release – a track that speaks to “apathy in the face of annihilation” and the fallout of standing idly by – co-vocalist Stefan Sepulveda says “I think a lot of people (myself included at times) feel overwhelmed by the state of the world and the never ending cycle of conflict and disasters, both natural and man-made. There have been times in my life where I’ve felt that there is no hope for positive change and been resigned to just watching everything turn to shit.

“The problem with that is that it’s a self-fulfilling prophecy – and that’s the message of the song, if you sit there waiting for the world to burn then that’s exactly what you’re going to get. So together with the next single ‘resist’, there’s a real call to action to get out and create positive change in whatever ways you can.”

This sentiment is reflected in the apocalyptic accompanying music video for ‘discontent’, following the journey of everyday people as they brace for the end of the world as they know it – some choosing to pave a path forwards, while others stand by and watch the clock count down. Watch HERE.

The band collaborated with Jack Newlyn (Between You & Me, Belle Haven) on their upcoming releases, with Newlyn producing, engineering and mixing ‘discontent’ and ‘resist’. Borrowing from the pop punk and alt-rock genres, All Regards are carving out a space of their own, with sharp guitar riffs, punchy drums and hook-driven vocal melodies powered by dual vocalists and guitarists Jeremy Allen and Stefan Sepulveda.

Their electric live shows have gained the group a strong local following, leading to sold out headline shows and sharing stages with the likes of ARIA chart toppers SoSo and rising Australian alternative favourites Belle Haven, Down And Out, Darcy Baker and more. On March 27, All Regards will play a double single launch show at Melbourne’s Workers Club in support of discontent and their upcoming track resist. Tickets are on sale now and available for purchase HERE.

LB aka LABAT shares new single ‘Feel So Good Around U’ featuring Skin On Skin, along with an official music video. Set to release his debut album Feel So Good Around U on February 27th

Single out now via Because Music

Listen Now

Pre-Save Album

LB aka LABAT & Skin on Skin
Feel So Good Around U, LB aka LABAT debut album releasing on Because Music, is a watershed moment in his career. Gone are the days of tinkering all by himself in a home studio—the sessions took place around the world in Berlin, London, Paris, and Melbourne. Co-produced alongside several artists from Australia, LB’s second home (Skin On SkinMemphis LKSam AlfredBig Ever), the new generation of French electronic producers (notinbedamneLUCASV) and artists from Sweden, Venezuela, Germany (KURT.MJ NebredaDJ Fuckoff) – all of whom cross genres with an instinctive fluidity – the record is as much solo work as it is a collective manifesto. He wanted to bring together different artists he met touring around the world and bonded with through music, people that made him feel at home when he was on the other side of the globe, capturing that feeling of community in one record. You can feel the friendship in this record also on the short skits from some of the collaborators scattered throughout the album. And some legends have also been present in the process such as Pedro Winter aka Busy P (Ed Banger) and the record was mixed by Geoff Swan (Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, Caroline Polachek…).

LB took on the role of artistic director, orchestrating his vision with panache. “I discovered a new way of working by opening up to other producers. I wasn’t closed to the idea, but it never crossed my mind before. There were dozens of us working on this album, including producers and artists that had different knowledge and we blended the energies and techniques together. I always come with a clear vision, the object, the sound, the intention, the skeleton of a song, and they help me bring it to life. It’s an incredibly exciting way to produce. I wanted the album to be accessible to a wide audience and more pop-oriented, without betraying my love for club music.”

The 11 tracks on Feel So Good Around U are a lively collage of influences— filtered house, hyperpop, techno, hard house, jungle and electroclash—all propelled into the future and enhanced by vocals processed as if they were samples. These include ‘Cómete’, the lead single which conjures up Latin Club with MJ Nebreda the Brat-inspired, techno-pop heater ‘Fixated’ with Memphis LK or the house banger ‘Rainy Days (but it’s all good)’ with Sam Alfred.

The new single, the album’s title track featuring Skin On Skin, releases with a matching melancholic music video. LB explains: “certainly the most love-filled track on the album, with its echoing “love you”s over an atmospheric drum & bass rhythm. It’s the first track I composed for the album with notinbed. I arrived at the Rue Boyer studios in Paris with a guitar sample that notinbed replayed in the style of Phoenix’s guitars. The atmosphere was pretty intense, since Pharrell had been in the same studios the week before. So we held a minute of silence in his honor—and in honor of Pusha T, my hero.”

On the days leading up to the album release in February, LB will be running a series of events in Marathon style from in-store sessions at iconic record shops such as Rough Trade (Denmark street) in London, Yoyaku in Paris, and more, as well as All Night Long sets at key clubs Le Sucre and Kalt in Lyon and Strasbourg, and Oken in Brussels.

After the release of the album, he will be kicking off an Australian tour playing at Destination (Perth), Divide Club (Adelaide), Lost Sundays (Sydney) and Pitch Music & Arts Festival (Moyston, VIC).

WINTERFYLLETH: UK Black Metal Kings Sign with Napalm Records!
New Album, The Unyielding Season, Out on March 27
First Single, “Heroes of a Hundred Fields”, Unveiled

Napalm Records is proud to announce the signing of the UK’s black metal legends, WINTERFYLLETH. To celebrate this new partnership, the band unveils a new album, The Unyielding Season, set for release on March 27, 2026. Making a stand, WINTERFYLLETH’s ninth album is a social commentary wrapped in meticulously crafted poetry and prose. Where the preceding album, The Imperious Horizon (2024), described an ominous, malevolent force, lurking in the distance, The Unyielding Season now explores said threat becoming a reality. The raging wildfire to its predecessor’s calculating, icy cold, WINTERFYLLETH’s first offering for their new record label is a reflection and a rebellion against the turmoils tearing individuals apart. It is a cry against the unsustainable weight of fear and pressure being pushed into the world, by the agents of an unresting, and unyielding force for evil.

The first glimpse into the infernal release is “Heroes of a Hundred Fields”. WINTERFYLLETH weave an epic story into a raging battle hymn, describing brave minds joining forces against a common oppressor to fight for their freedom.

WINTERFYLLETH about “Heroes of a Hundred Fields”:

“‘Heroes of a Hundred Fields’ is framed in a wartime, battlefield setting and uses the premise of soldiers coming together, united as brothers, to fight against a foe who are powerful, oppressive, and domineering. It talks about how people should come together and fight for the freedoms they have and not succumb to those who would attack them and try to weaken them (or take them away entirely). There have been so many ideas and schemes pushed into the world over the last few years that only serve to erode people’s personal freedoms, slowly, little-by-little, until they are gone. This song talks about ‘lighting the beacons of rebellion’ against those who would seek to undermine the way of life and freedom that we all – hopefully – hold dear.”

Where our surroundings grow more challenging every day, WINTERFYLLETH offers a pause for respite and resistance. The world is on fire, and The Unyielding Season is a warning.

WINTERFYLLETH about The Unyielding Season: “2026 marks a year of big changes for WINTERFYLLETH! A new label, a new member, a new album, and the landmark of 20 years making music together. We are enthused by what this new chapter will bring, and as a result, we are now able to share our ninth album, The Unyielding Season, with the world. It is also a powerful and virulent first output, through which we seal our new collaboration with Napalm Records.

In many ways, the new album is a reflection on – and a rebellion against – the turmoil’s and fears that are tearing the lives of many individuals apart. It is a cry against the unsustainable & constant weight of malevolence and pressure being pushed into the world by agents of an un-resting and unyielding force for evil. We hope the album resonates with you, stirs your soul, and gives you a source for hope. But, we also hope it makes you ask questions of your own circumstances and gives you pause to consider the unnerving state of the world we all share.”

“Heroes Of A Hundred Fields” is the first revolt on their ten-song manifesto, describing brave minds joining forces against a common oppressor to fight for their freedom.  The song unfolds in marvellous grandeur as chants of “Rebellions beacons now alight”, ring out against a tide of evil. With “Echoes In The After”, WINTERFYLLETH delivers a striking epic: adapted from a poem by Sir Philip Sidney’s late 16th-century romance “The Countess Of Pembroke’s Arcadia”, the track was written as a reaction to the felling of the famous ‘Robin Hood’ tree at Sycamore Gap on Hadrian’s Wall, in the North East of the UK. The following track, “A Hollow Existence”, opens up with galloping drums and explodes into equally aggressive and atmospheric black metal fireworks. The band’s trademark sound continues throughout “Perdition’s Flame” into the album’s title track, a powerful observation of our world’s current situation and a voice for those silenced by its hostility. Atmospheric masters WINTERFYLLETH then pause their rage, making room for “Unspoken Elegy”, an acoustic guitar-driven instrumental enriched by equally hopeful and menacing cello melodies—a hauntingly beautiful illustration of the dichotomy within The Unyielding Season. “In Ashen Wake” takes up the perilous undertone, taking its time before unveiling itself as another highly melodic black metal saga. “Toward Elysium” expands on that with a strong, old-school-inspired guitar riff, thrilling and catchy. Following another instrumental, the beautifully structured “Where Dreams Once Grew”, WINTERFYLLETH end the album running order with a bonus track, a cover of fellow Brits Paradise Lost’s “Enchantment”, originally released as the opening track on their 1995 classic Draconian Times.
