Inspired by Joan’s original Epiphone Olympic Special, this new version delivers the core elements you need to rock without distractions. It features a lightweight, asymmetrical double cutaway mahogany body designed for comfort and freedom of movement, paired with a glued-in mahogany neck shaped to the Olympic Special profile. The rosewood fretboard has a 12” radius, 22 medium jumbo frets, and pearloid dot inlays. The headstock carries the classic Olympic Special silhouette and is fitted with die-cast tuners and a Graph Tech® nut for dependable tuning stability. A gold reproduction of Joan’s signature appears on the back of the headstock for an added personal touch.
At its core is a single PowerHammer ProBucker™ pickup, delivering direct, unfiltered tone. Controls are intentionally simple yet effective: a single CTS® volume potentiometer topped with a black Speed knob featuring a rubber grip for confident handling and precise adjustment. An on/off toggle switch adds kill-switch capability, completing the stripped-back control setup.
