With a career spanning just over 20 years, Adam Miller had early beginnings as a solo guitar virtuoso, that led to session playing, producing, mix & master engineer, university educator, and everything in between, but his vision of creating instrumental guitar music has never lost focus. He has toured the globe, performing in the USA, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Denmark, The Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, Japan, Australia & even Afghanistan for the Australian and Allied Forces. Miller has shared stages with Les Paul, Tommy Emmanuel, Samantha Fish, Mike Stern, Charlie Hunter, Tomo Fujita, Adam Levy, Matt Schofield, Mason Stoops, Molly Miller, Josh Smith, Joey Landreth, Russell Morris, Ariel Posen, Tony McManus, Ben Gillies (Silverchair), Chris Cheney (The Living End) amongst so many others. With glowing coverage in guitar & music press around the world, the 2002 Australian Fingerstyle Guitar Champion even has his own signature model guitar from Nik Huber Guitars.
Adam Miller has recently released his 10th studio album ’Timing’, recorded in LA in just a 5 hour session. The music Adam and band present on Timing is both intricate and contemplative, taking the listener away from any of their world woes. His notes are played gently but deliberately and with much intent. There is nothing superfluous or unnecessary involved. Adam says what he needs to say with his instrument, decisively, delightfully and with a tremendous amount of skill. His pure sounding tone, combined with these charming melodies and next level musicianship make Timing a joy to spend time with.

Miller originally from Newcastle Australia, was based in Los Angeles, California for a time, and spent the better part of the last two decades performing throughout the USA, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Japan, & Australia. Adam’s LA based trio of Joel Gottschalk on Bass (Kate Hudson, May Erlewine, Phillip Sayce), & Justin Glasco on Drums (Paris Paloma) have developed a tight musical relationship after doing a number of shows & coffees around Los Angeles over the past 7 years, which is highlighted on TIMING, their third album together – the trio was also featured on Unify (2020) & Beyond Reason (2023).
