On the back of the granting of the recent Patent for Cole Clark True Balance pickups, Cole Clark has re-released these electric guitars that were made between 2002 and 2012.
For people unfamiliar with them, they are completely hollowed out, so are 2.7 kilos. The new version has a 3 a side headstock but keeps the straight string path so that the tremolo works properly.
True Balance pickups have the same volume on each string. Typically, electric guitars have a loud G and other strings have different volumes, with our Patented technology, Cole Clark can make the level the same for each string. They use standard bobbins, winding and Alnico 5 magnets to get the tone we all love, but with the same volume on each string. Guitarists are blown away with the sound now that the hidden notes are revealed.
This is not a me-too guitar; this inspires guitarists into brand new directions. By the way, the pickups are available as separate items if people want to put them into their favourite guitar.
