Professional guitarist and YouTube pioneer, Brett Kingman is one of Australia’s most sought after hired guns. Since starting his professional career at the age of 12, Brett has toured the world working & recording with such Australian icons as Daryl Braithwaite, Ross Wilson, Renee Geyer, Jenny Morris and shared the stage with the likes of Tina Turner and Robert Palmer, just to name a few. However it’s with James Reyne where you are most likely to see Brett playing, as he has been the acclaimed solo artist and Australian Crawl vocalist’s main guitar guy since 1987 (See 2024 tour dates below).

In 2008 Brett and his daughter Sadie made some short YouTube videos, demonstrating guitar effects pedals just for fun. The videos proved to be a hit with the global guitar-playing fraternity, encouraging the pair to produce more. Some 3000 videos and over 82,000 subscribers later, the “Brett Kingman” channel is now acknowledged as one of the best of its kind in the world. In fact it was voted in the world’s top ten a few years ago.
Brett produces videos for and has great relationships with big guns like Fender, Charvel, Fractal Audio, Ernie Ball Music Man, Audix Microphones, Gravity Stands, Imperative Vocal booths, Eventide, Roland, Boss, Marshall, Seymour Duncan and many others. He also loves to give fledgling companies a helping hand to get their products off the ground.
