Mackie has taken their trusted Thump range down into the low end with the release of the ThumpSub GO, the first battery-powered portable subwoofer from a major pro audio brand. Designed with portability and practicality front of mind, this compact unit makes it easy for musicians, DJs and live sound operators to take chest-thumping bass anywhere, no power point required.
The ThumpSub GO features dual battery slots, delivering up to 12 hours of continuous performance with two rechargeable GB-200 batteries on board. Each unit ships with one battery for around six hours of use, with the option of adding a second. Batteries can even be hot-swapped mid-show, so the music never stops.
Weighing in with a slim, ergonomic build and integrated handle, the ThumpSub GO is designed to travel. It can sit flat and tucked away under a stage or DJ stand, or stand upright to save space in tighter set-ups. As Mackie says, subs are meant to be felt, not seen.

Bluetooth® connectivity adds another layer of convenience, allowing wireless streaming direct to the ThumpSub GO. Audio is then passed on to connected speakers, meaning you can build a complete Bluetooth-capable PA rig even if your tops don’t have Bluetooth on board.
Of course, Mackie has also packed in all the essentials you’d expect from a professional sub. The ThumpSub GO houses dual 8” woofers for deep, punchy lows, and includes all the necessary I/O for mono, stereo or zone systems. A phase switch helps resolve any cancellation issues, while selectable high-pass and full-range modes let you tailor the balance between sub and tops. LED indicators keep you across power, overload and battery status, even on a dark stage.
