A couple of years ago we were introduced to the the creative people behind the FMC-Film Music Contest, currently one of the largest competitions of its kind in the EU, and now expanding into Asia. FMC-Film Music Contest is a professionally run contest that we were glad to support and happy to join them in promoting their international network.
Now coming from the same innovative people is the FM PLATFORM, a new international platform for music and film artists. It doubles as an international directory of people, companies, institutions and organisations active in the music and film world. It’s a unique, easy-to-use new platform bridging the worlds of film and music in one place is set for its global launch in December as it opens for all artists to enjoy.
The brainchild of the organisers of the FMC-Film Music Contest, the goal is to link up artists from all over the world, showcase their work and achievements, promote them, provide them with new technological news and features, and bring together artists, companies and institutions in the fields of music and film. FM platform was born out of suggestions made by film and music artists themselves, as well as by industry professionals over several years of face-to-face meetings its creators had at the most prestigious film and TV festivals and marts.

Basic membership is free for all music and film artists, regardless of their age or the country they are from. The platform offers a wealth of features, cataloguing, categorisation, geographic zoning, and a space to link your social media, music and film platforms. It is also a source of information about you, which you can update at any time, and a place where you can share your finished profiles and use them to promote yourself.
