Fresh off the release of their critically acclaimed 2025 album More, Pulp are set to make their long-awaited return to Australian and New Zealand stages. The UK band have announced headline dates across Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, alongside an appearance at Adelaide Festival.
Fronted by the inimitable Jarvis Cocker, Pulp announced the tour with characteristic restraint and wit, posting a simple message across their social media channels: “Do you want some more? Australia, we’ll see you in 2026.”
Pulp, who emerged from the British music scene of the 1990s with albums such as His ‘n’ Hers and the seminal Different Class, have remained one of the most distinctive voices of that era. Their return to the international stage in recent years, particularly following the success of their 2025 European tour and the release of the well-received album More, has reaffirmed their relevance and enduring appeal.
The band’s statement accompanying the announcement promised “old favourites, the new, and something more,” signalling that this would not be a purely nostalgic exercise. Recent reviews of their European performances have described Pulp as “every bit as vital in 2025 as they were three decades ago,” with set lists that balance the energy of their most celebrated songs, including “Common People,” “Do You Remember the First Time?” and “Disco 2000”, with newer material that reflects the band’s evolved sound and perspective.
