THE AMITY AFFLICTION announce 2026 regional Australian Tour with  IN HEARTS WAKE & REDHOOK

Seminal Australian metalcore outfit The Amity Affliction have today announced an extensive regional tour set to kick off in February 2016. The band will be hitting 21 dates spread across Queensland, NSW, Tasmania, Victoria and South Australia, with support from In Hearts Wake & Redhook.
Following the unfortunate cancellation of Park Waves festival last week, the upcoming tour gives fans in regional centres another opportunity to catch the band before they jump back over to the US for a tour in April.
Earlier this year The Amity Affliction released their latest single ‘All That I Remember’ to widespread support from the industry and fans alike, marking the bands first release with new bass player & clean vocalist Jonny Reeves. For many Australian fans across the country, this will be their first chance to see the band in its new form, an exciting prospect for the band as they look towards a busy 2026.
The Amity Affliction have become one of Australia’s premiere heavy acts over the past 2 decades; with eight studio albums under their belt (including 5 albums that have hit number 1 on the ARIA Charts); 7 ARIA nominations; countless sell out tours across Australia, the US, UK and Europe; and over 1 billion streams to their name.

MUCH LOVED JAPANESE-AUSTRALIAN BAND MACH PELICAN RETURN WITH FIRST NEW MUSIC IN NEARLY TWO DECADES

Legendary Japanese–Australian punk trio Mach Pelican return with their first new release in nearly two decades — a brand-new 7-inch single featuring “Remember It?” (Side A) and “Summer Sun” (Side B), out January 30, 2026 on Cheersquad Records & Tapes.

The single will be released in three limited vinyl variants — translucent red, translucent blue and classic black — 100 copies each, plus a worldwide digital release.

Pre-orders are open now! https://cheersquadrecordstapes.bandcamp.com/album/a-secret-session

Recorded by Paul Maybury (Rocket Science) at the renowned Secret Location Sound Recorders in Melbourne, the tracks capture everything fans love about Mach Pelican: high-speed energy, pop-soaked melodies, and those unmistakably catchy hooks. A perfect blend of nostalgia and fresh fire — proving the band is truly back.

To celebrate, Mach Pelican will host a Single Launch Party on
Saturday, January 31 at The Last Chance Rock & Roll Bar,
with special guests Loose Lips and Elvis II.
More details and pre-order links coming soon.

Mach Pelican are back — and they sound unstoppable.

Formed in November 1996 in Perth, Western Australia by Japanese students Toshi Maeda, Kei Nakamura and Atsu Omori, Mach Pelican quickly grew into an energetic punk rock force with Japanese roots and a fiercely Australian spirit.

In 1998, they relocated to Melbourne, where they rapidly built a reputation for their high-speed Ramones-influenced punk, pop-charged melodies, explosive live shows and relentless DIY touring.

Across an adrenaline-fueled eleven years, Mach Pelican performed more than 800 shows worldwide, touring Australia, Europe, Japan, Taiwan and South Korea. They shared stages with Australian punk icons like Radio Birdman, The Hard-Ons and Frenzal Rhomb, along with international legends such as Buzzcocks, Rancid, The Queers, Guitar Wolf, Teengenerate and The 5.6.7.8’s, solidifying their role as a key bridge between the Australian and Japanese underground scenes.

Their career also included appearances at major festivals such as Big Day Out, Meredith Music Festival, Homebake and Falls Festival, securing their legacy in the Australian punk landscape.

After disbanding in 2007, their following only grew stronger, with reunion shows in 2011, 2015 and 2019 proving the loyalty of their fans. Now, nearly 20 years since their last release, the trio has reunited in the studio — reigniting the spark that made them cult heroes.

The Tokyo four-piece, whose debut album was produced by Albert Hammond Jr of The Strokes, make their long-awaited down under debut in January

Following the announcement of their first ever Australian tour in January, beloved Japanese post-punk indie rockers DYGL (pronounced “Day-glo”) are set to have their new album Who’s In The House? locally released thanks to Cheersquad Records & Tapes. The album will be physically and digitally released in Australia on Friday January 16, 2026, just days before they begin their Australian tour. The album’s local vinyl release will come in black vinyl and well as limited-edition Custard yellow pressing and is available to pre-order now from https://dygl.bandcamp.com/album/whos-in-the-house-2

***

Hailing from Tokyo, DYGL are one of Japan’s most vital and internationally acclaimed indie rock bands. Formed in 2012, the four-piece has built a global following with their raw energy, heartfelt lyrics, and a sound that fuses indie rock and 2000s garage revival with a uniquely Japanese sensitivity.

Having had Albert Hammond Jr. of The Strokes produce their debut album and having toured across UK, Europe, Asia, and the US, DYGL are no strangers to international stages. Their dynamic live shows—equal parts cathartic and melodic—have earned them comparisons to The Libertines, The Cribs, and early Arctic Monkeys, but with a voice and vision that’s entirely their own.

While rooted in indie rock, their music often channels the raw immediacy of punk and the grit of garage rock, adding extra edge to their already powerful sound. With four full-length albums under their belt and a new wave of fans behind them, DYGL will make their long-awaited Australian debut in January 2026 with their East Coast Who’s In The House tour, which takes its name from their new album. SIX60 ARE BACK WITH THEIR LATEST SINGLE ‘WE MADE IT’ – OUT NOW

SIX60 have released their latest single, ‘We Made It’, out today! ‘We Made It’ channels SIX60’s signature fusion of pop and reggae — the sound of summer and true roots music.

The track celebrates gratitude, growth, and taking a moment to appreciate how far you’ve come. Whether it’s a major milestone or just the feeling of hitting Friday and heading for the beach, ‘We Made It’ captures that universal sense of celebration.

As the year wraps and a new one begins, this song delivers the uplifting message listeners are looking for: We made it. We celebrate life. And we keep moving forward.

SIX60 last night performed in the heart of Sydney Harbour as part of the ‘On The Steps’ series. During the Australian live debut of ‘We Made It’, New Zealand All Blacks’ Pasilio Tosi joined them on stage for a full Kiwi takeover at the Sydney Opera House. Watch the full video here.

They brought the same show that has sold out world-famous venues and helped them become New Zealand’s first true ‘stadium band’. The show treated audiences to the band’s beloved classics, along with brand-new music live from their new album before its release.

ABOUT SIX60:
From humble beginnings in a student flat in Dunedin to becoming the highest-selling live band in New Zealand history, SIX60’s journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. Known for their electrifying live shows, the band has sold out iconic venues including Eden Park, Western Springs, the Hordern Pavilion, Riverstage, and even a memorable halftime show at a sold-out Accor Stadium for the State of Origin in 2023 — cementing their reputation as a once-in-a-generation live phenomenon.

Their success extends far beyond the stage. In 2025, the Aotearoa Music Awards named SIX60 the country’s first-ever Chart Icon, recognising a record-breaking career that includes more than 1,200 weeks on the New Zealand music charts, four #1 albums, and 48 platinum-certified singles.

With the recent completion of their fifth studio album, SIX60 continues to evolve while staying true to their roots — inspiring fans around the world and shaping the future sound of Aotearoa/New Zealand.

Flesh Cherub announces new EP, Drowning in the Expanse of Looking Up; shares lead single ‘Blind’

Flesh Cherub, real name Liam McVay (he/they), AKA Naarm/Melbourne’s bard of brooding anguish, announces new LP Drowning In the Expanse of Looking Up, out Friday, January 17 via upcoming indie label Crossing House (Shock Corridor). To coincide with the news, they share lead single ‘Blind’.

‘Blind’ is a gloomy torch song of inner crisis, impulses and angels. It’s a smouldering track that combines gothic country with downtempo distortion, riffing on the fallacy of the adage ‘time heals all wounds.

On Drowning In The Expanse of Looking Up, Flesh Cherub smears together punk, folk and country for a collection of songs swaggering and wrenching in equal measure, that grapple with how one’s past is inescapable. “It’s about trying to move forward with your life, but struggling because everything is tainted by who you were before. It also touches on spiraling anxiety, and how those plummeting thoughts can drown you in a kind of cosmic ocean” they say. In the same manner that personal history haunts and loops, McVay’s songs are ghostly, cyclical lamentations that stay with the listener long after they’ve been played. Anchoring the EP is McVay’s devastatingly baritone, that crackles and bellows across the record’s five, singular tracks.

Drowning In The Expanse of Looking Up is the follow-up to McVay’s debut Doom Groove, an atmospheric EP of fringe folk and alt-country, released independently in 2024 to acclaim from Forte Magazine, RTR and 4ZZZ, among others. The LP was recorded and mixed by (who also played bass and drums) with contributions on pedal steel by Pierce Morton.

Blarke Bayer’s debut album, THE KING IN YELLOW is out now

STREAM/SHARE

12″ VINYL VIA SOUNDMERCH

Blarke Bayer, the solo project of Naarm/Melbourne multi-instrumentalist, Benjamin Andrews today shares his debut solo LP, THE KING IN YELLOW, available as a digital download and on limited-edition 12″ vinyl via ENDLESS RECORDINGS. A special release party will be held from 10pm tonight at the Bendigo Hotel to celebrate the new album. Entry is free, with purchase of the LP giving you free access to an Endless Open Bar Tab.

In 1895, the American writer Robert W. Chambers published his best known work, The King in Yellow, a confounding and beautiful suite of supernatural stories, involving a shadowy, pernicious entity, a sinister churchyard watchman and a forbidden play which causes madness in anyone who dares to read it. This book serves as the central inspiration for prolific experimental musicians and composer Benjamin Andrews astounding new solo record THE KING IN YELLOW, released under the moniker Blarke Bayer. Full of glacial drone, crushing, subterranean guitars and torpid synths, Andrews offers a kind of redux to Chamber’s prohibited play—here is an uncanny, almost menacing record, which may induce despair or derangement. Will you dare to listen? But despite this gloomy conceit, this is a record of hypnotic pleasures and pockets of radiance. Luminosity creeps out unexpectedly from walls of devastating noise, and Andrew displays an incredible ability to transform tones of wreckage and confinement into something sacred and enlivening.

The album was recorded over a sweltering autumn weekend in 2021, at the dilapidated All Saints church in Bendigo, built in 1856. Producer, engineer and Endless label-head Alex Cameron had managed to get the keys off the church’s caretaker. The pair had hoped to set up gear inside and stay the night, but the church’s state of total disrepair made this impossible. The windows were smashed in and the floors were littered with trash.

During the recording, locals entered the church with questions and curiosity, and a hope that they could come in and listen. “People started turning up and asking ‘Can we pay entry?’ And we had to say, ‘no sorry, we’re making a noise album’. No one complained. They enjoyed it. They were really excited and stuck around”, remembers Andrews. Cameron was essential to the project. “It wouldn’t have happened without his interest and motivation… he comes from a more traditional rock background, and it was great to have an outsider looking in with a different set of references,” says Andrews.

“It was an honour and privilege to work with my friend, confidante and music hero on this.” says Cameron. “We fled Boogie festival in Talarook and took shelter in the church, which was in a sorry state. Desecrated by Satanic graffiti and strewn with squatter’s detritus, it was a fitting setting for Benjamin Andrews’ waves of dark ambience. It was recorded with the barest of set ups and my rudimentary engineering skills were put to the test by the immense volume of Andrews’ legendary rig.”

“We had no delusions of grandeur. We wanted to record it really quickly and really raw” adds Andrews. They had a couple of microphones, guitars, amps set up on the pulpit, and an old Yamaha synth. Takes were quick, and they didn’t labour over certain arrangements or sounds. This frenetic spontaneity can be heard on ‘THE LAST KING’ a slice of sludgy guitars that sound as if they are being transmitted from inside a deep well, and ‘BLACK STARS’ a bracing track of industrial clamoring, which could be the soundtrack to a forgotten 1930s horror film.

Field recordings and voice samples were the final pieces produced for the LP. The album launches with ominous church bells on intro ‘ANGELUS’ and finishes with ‘THE MASK’ where some lines of Anna Karina in Jean Luc Godard’s Alphaville are sampled, which describe the devouring pull of desire. Similarly, THE KING OF YELLOW puts us under its spell, drawing us into a devouring, incandescent pit of noise and drone.

Benjamin Andrews has been a stalwart of the Australian independent scene for over two decades, with various noise, metal and experimental projects which include the long running industrial rock group MY DISCO, exploratory black metal band KILAT, and the highly influential two piece grindcore group, Agents of Abhorrence. THE KING IN YELLOW will be released on Friday, December 12 via Endless Recordings, an independent record label operated by Alex Cameron, whose roster includes renowned Australian acts such as Jack Ladder, Placement and The Pretty Littles, among others.

YHWH Release New EP Khatha

Five Tracks of Unrelenting Extreme Metal Fury Now Available
Stream Now: https://orcd.co/khathaep

Extreme metal powerhouse YHWH have unleashed their latest sonic assault with Khatha, a short but devastatingly punishing five-track EP that showcases the band at their most raw and uncompromising.

Khatha breathes life into previously unrecorded compositions, each track a brutal confrontation with human cruelty, societal injustice, and the darker corners of myth and the mind. With unrelenting intensity, YHWH deliver a statement that refuses to compromise, reinforcing their place as one of modern extreme metal’s most intense and thought-provoking forces.

Khatha strips away all pretense, delivering five tracks of pure extreme metal that challenge listeners to confront uncomfortable truths. From the opening salvo to the final crushing note, YHWH demonstrate why they’ve become essential listening for fans of uncompromising heavy music.
The previously unrecorded material showcases the band’s evolution while maintaining the ferocity that has defined their sound. Each composition serves as a mirror to humanity’s darkest impulses, forcing listeners to gaze unflinchingly into the abyss.

Khatha represents YHWH’s commitment to extreme metal at its most vital and unforgiving. In an era of overproduced mediocrity, the band delivers an honest statement that reminds us why extreme music matters. This is metal that doesn’t just entertain, it challenges, provokes, and leaves permanent scars.

For fans of uncompromising extreme metal who demand substance with their savagery, Khatha is essential listening.

Formed in 2024, YHWH is a Belgian/Thai black metal band. All music is composed by Schem HaMephorash and her sister C. Bones, with S.M. Goat Ritual joining in June. Following their debut EP Tetragrammaton (April 2025, Wormholedeath), the band now unleashes the second chapter: Khatha. Prepare for the doom.

GIRL TONES RELEASE “LEAVE THE CITY”

STREAM / WATCH THE VISUALIZER

Putting a scuzzy bow on their massive year, Girl Tones release one more single today titled “Leave The City.” Out now via Parallel Vision x Big Loud Rock, the song sees the 2-piece band with stars in their eyes after a year of playing all over the world. Formidable flowers pushing their way through the cracked concrete, Girl Tones are in a grateful state of disbelief. “Leave The City” is meant to be screamed from an open sunroof, taking in the night air — Stream.

The duo shared that, “‘Leave the City’ is about growing pains, it plays on the idea of loving where you are from, but feeling out of place. Navigating between pain and nostalgia in a place that you simultaneously love and hate.”

Girl Tones took the reins this year and didn’t let up on the control even once. In 2025, they made their festival debut at Lollapalooza, Shaky Knees and Austin City Limits in the US, as well as The Great Escape in the UK. Addicted to the road, they toured in support of Cage The Elephant, Silversun Pickups, The Velveteers, hey, nothing and Sunday (1994).

Throughout the year, Girl Tones have been hitting milestone after milestone. Their singles “Blame,” “Cherry Picker” and “Burnout” all secured Advanced Placement on Sirius XM’s Alt Nation. “Burnout” was featured in ABC’s show High Potential and “Fade Away” landed in an episode of The Runarounds. With tremendous editorial support throughout the year, “Burnout” was recently added to Amazon’s Best of 2025: Alternative List and Spotify’s Editors’ Pick: Best Rock & Alt Songs of 2025.

Girl Tones’ foot will stay on the throttle in early 2026 with upcoming tours announced with Peter McPoland and Dexter and The Moonrocks. In May, they will head back to the UK to play The Great Escape, and back in the US in June they will perform at Bonnaroo and Outside Days. See all upcoming dates here and below.

UPCOMING TOUR DATES All info here

ABOUT GIRL TONES:
Girl Tones, of planet Earth, are a high-energy rock duo brought to life by two sisters named Kenzie and Laila. Both classically trained musicians, Kenzie transitioned from cello to guitar and Laila from piano to drums in an effort to electrify sentient beings from this galaxy to the next. Their debut releases were produced by Brad Shultz of Cage The Elephant and released via his label Parallel Vision in partnership with Big Loud Rock.

Their first offerings have earned the praise of Rolling Stone, VICE, Consequence, PAPER, NME, DORK and many others with Flaunt saying, “Their sound is fluid, and yet with each release, they evolve as a harmonious group, developing their unique sound as one.”

In their short but mighty existence, the duo has become synonymous with riotous live shows. Girl Tones has toured with Cage The Elephant across the globe, as well as The Velveteers, hey, nothing. and Silversun Pickups in North America. Making their unignorable festival debut at Lollapalooza, Shaky Knees, Austin City Limits and more this summer, Rolling Stone said, “While the White Stripes — their most obvious comparison — were about controlled energy, Girl Tones are proudly imperfect.”

As the band gets ready for 2026, they have no shortage of new music and new tour dates up their sleeves.

JOYRIDE ARRIVES VIA RED HOUSE RECORDS ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 30, 2026

Veteran troubadour Steve Poltz has announced his eagerly awaited new album, JoyRide, arriving via Red House Records on Friday, January 30, 2026. Pre-orders for vinyl, CD, and an exclusive new merch line are available now. Produced, engineered, and mixed by Dex Green (known for his GRAMMY® Award-nominated work with such artists as Shemekia Copeland, Elvis Costello, Margo Price, and Nicole Atkins), JoyRide includes the typically topical first single, “If It Bleeds It Leads,” premiering today at all streaming services.

“‘If It Bleeds, It Leads’ was so much fun to record because it was challenging — and I love a good challenge,” says Steve Poltz. “I used Emmylou Harris’s rhythm section: Bryan Owings on drums and Christopher Donohue on bass. Dex Green played this weird-sounding keyboard that added to the whole vibe, along with my acoustic guitar. I wrote the song after watching the news with some people who were yelling at the TV screen. I had to leave the room and immediately write this song.”

PRE-ORDER JOYRIDE PHYSICAL

Poltz’s 14th solo album and first new LP in close to four years, JoyRide sees the acclaimed tunesmith teaming with producer/multi-instrumentalist Dex Green at 3Sirens, a historic home studio in East Nashville, TN, for an high-spirited, sharp-witted collection of 10 brand new songs that includes such sure-to-be fan favorites as “Fixin’ Up” (a three-way co-write with Americana legend Jim Lauderdale and 2018 CCMA Songwriter of the Year, Skip Black) and the rowdy “Love a Little Bigger,” co-written with longtime pal Vince Herman of Leftover Salmon.

“Capturing me in a studio is like convincing a whirling dervish to stop spinning long enough to sign a bill into law,” says Poltz. “It’s chaos, caffeine, and accidental poetry — art colliding with microphones and commerce in a glorious mess. That’s how JoyRide happened. No seatbelts, no helmets. Just unsaturated, unadulterated art. Real humans making real noise in real time.”

Hailed by American Songwriter for “his unhinged live performances, incredible way with a comedic lyric, and ability to spin a ripping tale,” Poltz will celebrate JoyRide with a truly epic tour schedule that will see him traveling the US, his native Canada, Mexico and Australia/New Zealand for headline dates, festival appearances, shows with his good friend and fellow singer-songwriter Bob Schneider, and more. Highlights include his 17th Annual 50th Birthday Bash, a two-night stand set for February 21-22, 2026, at Solana Beach, CA’s famed Belly Up, featuring Poltz joined by The Rugburns and other special guests. CANADIAN EMO-ROCK BAND SECOND HARBOUR RELEASE COALESCE EP

Canadian emo-rock trio SECOND HARBOUR — comprised of brothers Xavier and Vincent Morency, along with John Muggianu — have released their new Coalesce EP, out now via SharpTone Records. Get it here.

Second Harbour, who have garnered early press praise from Exclaim!, Hit Parader, and Idobi, have shared another self-shot video, this time for the title track. How’s that for a commitment to the DIY ethos!

“We had a lot to prove with this EP,” says the band’s Vincent Morency. “To the world, absolutely, but to ourselves even more so. We didn’t want to come out with what’d been done before, or worse, what we’d done before. In the past, we’d always felt concerned about assimilating into the scene, and writing songs that fit into whatever subgenre we were a part of. This time around, equipped with everything we’d learned through our past releases, we felt it high time we took the swings we always wanted to. So we did just that. We came out swinging. Our title track is four and a half minutes long, our third track has both the happiest and heaviest parts we’ve ever written, and our main single has so many lyrics, we need a permit for them. We took these swings and left the studio more confident than ever in the work we’d done. This collection of songs is Second Harbour. Coalesce IS Second Harbour.”

“If ‘Coalesce’ were the last song we ever put out, we’d be able to rest fulfilled,” says Xavier Morency. “For weeks on end, we tried to build that song from the ground up. We devoted all of our time to it, and it amounted to nothing bar the guitar intro. No matter how hard we tried, we couldn’t for the life of us crack that song. We were crumbling under the weight of the expectations we’d set for ourselves. In letting those go, we were able to circle back to the song in high spirits, and everything seemed to fall right into place.”

MINH – THANK GOD! IT DIDN’T WORK OUT’ – EP

Vietnamese pop singer-songwriter MINH recently released his long-awaited debut EP, THANK GOD! IT DIDN’T WORK OUT. Anchored by the emotionally charged focus track ‘Damaged,’ which is lifted from a five-song project that captures the rawness of first heartbreak, the pain of letting go, and the quiet triumph of rediscovery.

‘Damaged’ delves into the lingering ache of wounds we thought had healed, the kind that resurface when life unexpectedly triggers old memories. “It’s about realising that no matter how much healing you think you’ve done, some wounds still ache when triggered,” says MINH.

Written by MINH, Glenn Hopper, and Cody Jon, and produced by Glenn Hopper and Michael Choi, ‘Damaged’ was born from MINH’s own heartbreak, the end of a two-year relationship that left him shattered and questioning who he was without love. When he later tried to move on, he found himself haunted by reminders of his past, a moment that inspired the track’s emotional honesty and self-reflection.

“I thought I was ready to move on,” MINH shares. “But when I started to entertain someone new, I realised I wasn’t. That moment, waking up next to someone new and being hit by memories of my ex, made me realise I was still deeply affected. It was painful, but it taught me to be more self-aware and more honest with myself.”

Born and raised in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, MINH is an exceptional singer-songwriter known for his introspective lyricism and pop sensibility. His breakout single “Heartbreaker” became the first Vietnamese song released in Dolby Atmos and was ranked among Apple Music’s Top 100 Songs of 2021. With over 11 million career streams and a growing international audience across Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, the Philippines, Singapore, and Malaysia, MINH continues to redefine Vietnamese pop on the global stage.

This year, he made history as the first Vietnamese act to perform at Bangkok Music City (Thailand), Taoyuan Pearl Coast Festival (Taiwan) and Zandari Festa (Korea). He also graced the stage in front of 60,000 people at LIGHTS Countdown, delivering a performance that solidified his reputation as one of Vietnam’s most captivating live acts.

Most recently, the single ‘Gossip’ quickly gained attention, being featured by international media outlets such as Bandwagon Asia, EARMILK, Bingkai Karya, The Noize Magazine, Manila Republic, and IGGY Magazine. MINH was also invited to share his story and music on notable podcasts and radio shows, including 3CR Melbourne, ICRT FM 100 Radio, and 105 Kiss FM Medan. Furthermore, ‘Gossip’ was added to Spotify’s V-Sound Ngay Lúc Này playlist, amplifying its reach to a wider Vietnamese and global audience.

‘Out With Grace’ is enjoying significant exposure, including high rotation on SBS PopAsia, features on platforms such as Digital Tour Bus, Iggy Magazine and Korea’s Band of Age and was featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the Philippines.

BELLA CLAXTON Launches Cadence With Her EP The Power

Bella Claxton is stepping into a new chapter with the launch of Cadence, her own label built for forward motion: high-energy, hard-house-leaning club tools driven by pace, pressure, and purpose. The label arrives December 17 with The Power, a two-track release that captures the shift she’s been moving toward in both her sets and her production.

On her recent inspiration… “A lot of these tracks come from very specific dancefloor moments. Seeing artists like Roza Terenzi play those proggy, hard-house-leaning club tunes really shifted something for me… it showed me how powerful the genre can be when it’s built for the room, not for big dramatic drops. That pushed me toward a more club-focused approach: driving basslines, long grooves, fewer interruptions, and that locked-in momentum you only get deep in a set.”

On The Power…

“It actually started at The Beach Bar stage at Dekmantel Selectors. I was there between sets when this sample drifted through the system. It felt completely unexpected in that moment, which is probably why it hit me so hard. I recorded it straight onto my phone… wind noise, crowd, everything… and built the track around that tiny accidental slice of audio.

“So the inspiration is a mix of those club moments that shifted my perspective and the strange little accidents that end up becoming the backbone of a record.”

Cadence reflects the direction Bella has been carving out across Australia and Europe: a tighter, harder, more direct sound shaped by long, rolling grooves and instinct rather than spectacle. It will also serve as a home for the producers moving within her orbit, with sharp, functional pumpers arriving throughout 2026.

LORD OF THE LOST Unveils New Single “Winter’s Dying Heart”

New Album, OPVS NOIR Vol. 2, Out Now via Napalm Records

Touring Australia in February

LORD OF THE LOST released their new album, OPVS NOIR Vol. 2, on, December 12, 2025 via Napalm Records. To celebrate, the German virtuosos open up their catalogue with another single, “Winter’s Dying Heart”, a grandiose ballad with a sad, yet beautifully captivating atmosphere. The accompanying video sees LORD OF THE LOST venture into uncharted territory: for the first time in the band’s history, they present an animated music video, created by film studio “Kotburschi Kollektiv”. Its story does not revolve around a season; rather, the title “Winter” is the name of the video’s protagonist, around whom the song’s lyrics are also woven.

Chris Harms on “Winter’s Dying Heart”:

“This song hurts in the most beautiful way. Bittersweet, slow, tough, like big waves in slow motion, hard and yet so melodic. Music like this is the best example that melancholy, at least for me, is a beautiful feeling that I can wrap myself in like a blanket when I feel like it. In addition, ‘Winter’s Dying Heart’ has a clear reference to real events, packaged in a modern fairy tale. A song that lives deep in the core of the overall feeling of the OPVS NOIR trilogy.”

Following their enchantingly colorful BLOOD & GLITTER, which earned them participation in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 and a #1 chart entry in their native Germany, LORD OF THE LOST reinvent themselves yet again with OPVS NOIR. With OPVS NOIR Vol. 2, another 11 heartfelt songs join the three-part cycle, tying seamlessly into Vol. 1. With OPVS NOIR Vol. 2, the band delves deeper into their melancholic take on unravelling their innermost selves, adding a new hopeful layer to the wonderfully dark panorama already presented in OPVS NOIR Vol. 1.

Check Out The Official Video for “Pirates & Kings” https://youtu.be/mKrNY9RvLM8

VISIONS OF ATLANTIS singer Clémentine Delauney on “Pirates & Kings?”:

“This is no longer a time for division or competition. When threats and tensions rise, the answer is to unite and become allies.

This year ends with fear and dark projections; next year is about showing the right response. Tyrants will not prevail, manipulation will not work. We will see through the smoke screen and claim our own truth.

We believe that unity is strength. This is a time for collaboration, for opening ourselves to others, and for gathering like-minded souls. We can face anything when we stand with our tribe and our tribe is growing. We’re welcoming new warriors and shield-maidens aboard.

Pirates and Kings are launching the movement, leading the charge. Now it’s your turn to join the call.

Brave your fear, bring a friend, and reserve your seat for the most epic adventure, a place where a new world is forged, where courage is honored, where emotions run deep, and where your power is real.”

WARKINGS add: “When the tides of chaos swell and the winds whisper of war, the kings must look beyond their own thrones. So we joined forces with Visions of Atlantis — warriors of the endless sea — to remind the world that unity is the strongest weapon. Pirates & Kings‘ is the pact we seal in fire and storm”

Their “thundering” performance at London’s historic Alexandra Palace will go live on YouTube on Wednesday, December 16 at 1am EST. You can check out the live countdown HERE.
