MILINA MIHIC DEBUTS HEARTBREAKING FIRST SINGLE, OVERPASS
22 year-old Sydney singer/songwriter Milina Mihic debuts a new era with the release of Overpass, a heartbreaking, emotional alt-pop track that delves into mental health and learning to care for yourself.
Channelling the likes of Phoebe Bridgers and Ethel Cain on Overpass, Milina brings a crunchy, edgy approach, making her take on the type of alt-pop sound uniquely her own. Written in collaboration with producer and label A&R Blake Wares, she has retired her rockier alias MILINA, under which she released singles “Do you know me now?” and “Anyday”. These tracks saw her spotlighted as an artist to watch by triple j unearthed in 2024, with her most recent single released in August 2024.
Vulnerable, honest and moody, Overpass is awash with moody baritone guitars, slide guitar, and plunky pianos. Milina’s hauntingly beautiful voice grows in power as the song goes on, anchoring the track, and bringing depth and emotion well beyond her years. Lyrically, Milina delves deep into the complexity of mental health and how she’s tried to help others going through a crisis, whilst also making sure that she looks after herself. In that way, Overpass became an outlet for her to recount and process those experiences, and how they’ve helped shape her.
“I wrote this song about how complex dealing with others’ mental illness can be, while also attempting to care for yourself in the process”, Milina said. “There have been a few times in my life where I’ve had to accept my limits, because there’s a point where you can do more harm than good. I feel like this song lives in between the moment you choose to help, and the moment you choose to stop.”
Hailing from Western Sydney, Milina Mihic started singing when she was 6 years old – and has been infatuated with music ever since. “It was the only thing that could keep me calm, hype me up, or make me focus. I remember listening to a few big artists at a young age and telling my mum that I wanted to do what they did”. After finishing high school, she auditioned for The Voice in 2021, and watched as all of the judges’ chairs turned for her performance of Freya Riding’s Castles. After being eliminated, she went back to studying, before debuting her MILINA project in 2024 with “Do you know me now?”, “Anyday” and “All At Once”.
Throughout 2025, she took the time to reassess her direction, rebrand as Milina Mihic – her full name – and worked with Blake Wares and Real Life Records to finalise new music that will roll out in 2026. With a voice beyond her years, Milina Mihic delves into her thoughts and feelings around coming-of-age and her teenage experiences. “I was listening to a lot of Fiona Apple, Jeff Buckley, Phoebe Bridgers and Nothing but Thieves when I was writing this song. I feel like those artists have always inspired me so there will always be a piece of them in my music” Milina said about her influences. “Winter by Tori Amos was also playing a lot when I wrote Overpass, and I feel like the melancholy in that song is something I wanted to replicate in Overpass.”
On her re-brand and shift in direction, Milina noted that “Milina Mihic is the person that I want to be. I’m more vulnerable, and sometimes too honest, but I lay everything out on the table – including my flaws. The world this music lives in is fragmented, confusing, and dreamlike, like it’s planted in a memory you can’t quite decipher.”
Speaking specifically about Overpass, Milina said; “It feels amazing to (finally) be releasing it! I took a bit of time between releases to really hone in on this single and the next few songs I wrote. I’ve been trying to make my music feel as ‘me’ as possible, and I’m extremely proud of how it’s all turned out”.
Overpass is out now.

JESS DALE ‘THE WIND AND THE RAIN’ (SINGLE)
“I wrote this song after reading Yeat’s poem “Mad as the mist and snow” which is about a man sheltering inside, reflecting that the world outside is mad, and basically giving up. I liked the premise because, yes, absolutely: the world outside is mad. Especially right now. Sometimes you need to turn off your phone and curl up in a ball. But that doesn’t mean you’re giving up. You recover and then go back outside; try to make the world better.”
“I recorded the song with producer Ryan Brennan and musicians Luke and Ryan Dux and Todd Pickett (best known for playing in Perth band The Kill Devil Hills.)”

PETER FREEBAIRN RELEASES “THE GIRL I KNOW”, A DEEPLY PERSONAL NEW SINGLE
Following the momentum of his 2025 single Sweet Emotion, singer-songwriter Peter Freebairn returns with The Girl I Know, available on all major streaming platforms from Friday 13 February 2026 through Pop Preservation Society. The release forms part of an evolving body of work, with both singles drawn from a larger project currently in development.
Recorded in the same home studio as Sweet Emotion, the new track continues Freebairn’s melodic power-pop direction while revealing a softer, breezier side. Together, the two songs mark consecutive chapters of a broader creative arc leading toward a forthcoming full-length release.
Opening with understated acoustic guitar, The Girl I Know builds as Paul Boyle’s confident drum groove carries the song forward. Rich vocal harmonies lift the chorus, touching on country textures while leaning into power pop, with Freebairn’s falsetto adding an emotional release toward the close.
As with the previous single, Freebairn performs nearly every instrument, joined by Paul Boyle on drums. Jo George, Lisa Mio, and Boyle are members of Freebairn’s live band Radio Vertigo, with George and Mio contributing backing vocals. Mio also adds bass, while George features on piano.
Lyrically, The Girl I Know reflects Freebairn’s experience of distance and connection while his daughters travelled through the northern hemisphere. Photos, late-night calls, and references to a “warm July” capture that separation, while listeners are free to make their own meaning from its universal themes of growth and connection.
Visually, the single continues the bold pop-art aesthetic introduced with Sweet Emotion, reinforcing that both releases belong to a connected creative chapter.
Peter Freebairn with Radio Vertigo appear as special guests supporting Horizon on Saturday 7 March 2026 at George Lane, St Kilda. Presented by Pop Preservation Society. Doors open 7pm. Premium seating strictly capped.

EVIG NATT “Vaketimen” (ALBUM)
EVIG NATT’s music is aggressive but subtle, noisy yet beautiful, a maelstrom of symphonic darkness that could only be described as Orchestral Gothic Doom Metal. From the unholy metal grounds of Karmøy, west Norway, this band follows in the footsteps of Einherjer and Enslaved, featuring ex-band members of both.
If you are interested in interviewing the artist, please contact us, and we’ll arrange everything for you!

KNOCKED LOOSE ENLISTS DENZEL CURRY FOR NEW SONG AND MUSIC VIDEO
HIVE MIND OUT NOW
Knocked Loose shares their new song Hive Mind featuring Denzel Curry. As the preeminent, contemporary heavy band, the new single sees the band bringing Denzel Curry – a noted student of hardcore and metal who made waves with his celebrated cover of Rage Against The Machine’s “Bulls On Parade” on triple j’s Like A Version in 2019 – into their world for a rare convergence of stars from rock and rap that is more than the sum of its parts. The song arrives with a music video directed by Eric Richter and Knocked Loose vocalist Bryan Garris filmed in the band’s hometown of Louisville, Kentucky at the iconic skate spot David Armstrong Extreme Park.
Speaking about Hive Mind, Garris shares, “This is something we’ve talked about doing for a long time. We wondered if we could pull it off and who would be down. In the very beginning, we said for it to work, it would have to be Denzel Curry. Because he gets it.”

Hive Mind is the first new music from Knocked Loose following their highly praised 2024 album You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To, which includes Grammy nominated track Suffocate featuring Poppy. Upon its release, You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To was praised by the likes of GQ, Forbes, The Guardian, The FADER, Revolver, Kerrang!, The Needle Drop, FLOOD and Pitchfork, who stated in their 8.0 review that Knocked Loose has “amplified and concentrated their sound into something so potent that it has its own gravitational pull.” The album was produced by Drew Fulk (Disturbed, Lil Peep, Motionless In White) and culminated in a culture-defining performance of Suffocate with Poppy on Jimmy Kimmel Live! In late 2024.
Later this year, Knocked loose will perform at the Sick New World Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 25 and Dallas, Texas on October 24. In between those festival appearances, they will support Metallica across select dates this summer, all of which can be found below.
Emerging in 2014 with their debut EP Pop Culture, the Kentucky quintet has been sharpening the blade of their earnest songwriting and skull-melting musicality over the course of the last 10 years. In 2016, Knocked Loose released their debut album Laugh Tracks, which features the track Counting Worms and in 2019 they released their sophomore album A Different Shade of Blue, which saw the band continue to lean toward heavier and more challenging sonics. First wave ’77 London punk TV SMITH of THE ADVERTS to tour Australia for the first time with TV SMITH’S ADVERTS
TV Smith was founder member, singer and songwriter for the Adverts, who formed in late 1976 and were one of the leading bands in the first wave of British punk rock. In early 1977 the Adverts performed regularly at the newly-opened Roxy Club in London, and gained cult success with the Stiff Records single “One Chord Wonders.” Their next release, “Gary Gilmore’s Eyes” became a top twenty hit record, leading to radio and TV appearances and extensive media interest. A further single, “No Time To Be 21,” also entered the charts, and the band spent the rest of the year playing live, including major tours with The Damned and Iggy Pop. The album that followed in early 1978, Crossing the Red Sea with the Adverts is still considered a genuine classic of the era and is often cited as one of the ten best punk albums ever released.
The Adverts released one more album, Cast Of Thousands, before they split in 1979. Slammed by the critics at the time, the album was later re-released to universal acclaim, and described by Mojo magazine as “the long lost punk album that rivals The Clash’s ‘London Calling’.”
More recently, an original early ’77 Adverts rehearsal tape which served as their first demo, taken from a cassette bought on eBay by superfan Henry Rollins, and an unreleased early Adverts single, have both been released on cool LA label In The Red Records, who recently also released The Saints’ ‘(I’m) Stranded’ boxset.
The Adverts – Rehearsal Tape – In the Red Records
Fiercely independent and proudly embodying the original spirit of punk rock, TV performs as an acoustic solo artist all over the world, as well as playing gigs with bands. Over the past few years he has supported Stiff Little Fingers, the Damned and Ruts DC on major tours in the UK, and played headline tours throughout the UK, Europe, the U.S.A and Japan. In 2025 he set off on a world tour which included the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Finland, Ireland, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and North America (with the Damned), and now in 2026, he has some dates in Australia!

ANNIE & THE CALDWELLS ANNOUNCE AUSTRALIAN TOUR. PERFORMING AT WOMADALAIDE, PORT FAIRY FOLK FESTIVAL, MELBOURNE RECITAL CENTRE & MEENIYAN TOWN HALL
Annie & The Caldwells are announcing a return to Australia in early March, 2026. The tour follows their television debut on Later… with Jools Holland (BBC Two) and extensive touring throughout 2025 and shows across 5 continents, as they toured their celebrated debut album “Can’t Lose My (Soul)”, which was released on David Byrne’s Luaka Bop record label, earlier this year.
Watch Annie & The Caldwells perform “I Made It” on Later…with Jools Holland here
The extraordinary family band from West Point, Mississippi — whose powerful blend of gospel, soul and funk is being hailed as “fantastic” and powerful” in a five star review by The Guardian — will bring their radiant, spirit-lifting show to Port Fairy Folk Festival (March 6), WOMAD Adelaide (March 8 & 9), Melbourne Recital Centre (March 10) and Meeniyan Town Hall (March 13).
The announcement comes amid a remarkable rise for the group, making their live debut in Australia, Japan, South Korea and Ireland, following shows in Brazil, the U.S., and around Europe earlier this year, where they have been celebrated for their originality and powerful live shows. Recently, they also released “Don’t You Hear Me Calling (Live at Public Records)” on Qobuz, recorded at the renowned New York deep listening club in Brooklyn.
During their visits to Sydney and Melbourne in June, when they played RISING and Sydney Recital Hall, they were asked by electronic musician and composer Jono Ma to record vocals for his forthcoming score of the Sydney New Year’s 2025 fireworks.
Hear Annie & The Caldwells perform for the Sydney New Year’s Eve 2025 Fireworks
Their appearance on Later… marks a significant milestone in a journey forty years in the making. Annie and her husband Joe formed the group to keep their children close to their gospel roots, blending sacred music with the funk and soul their kids love.
Filmed at Alexandra Palace Theatre in North London, the family perform “I Made It” from their debut album Can’t Lose My (Soul) — out now via Luaka Bop — a performance brimming with grit, faith and joy that reflects their stories of struggle and redemption.
Later in the programme, Annie joins Jools Holland for a warm conversation about the family’s musical roots before being joined by daughters Deborah and Anjessica, and goddaughter Toni, for a soaring rendition of the gospel classic “Mary Don’t You Weep”— a song famously recorded by Prince, Taj Mahal and The Swan Silvertones, and now powerfully reimagined by Annie & The Caldwells. The performance captured the group’s signature blend of spiritual fire and soulful groove, offering a glimpse of the ecstatic, redemptive energy that defines their live shows.

Annie & The Caldwells — a family group from West Point, Mississippi whose striking disco soul sound will stir church congregations and dance club revellers alike — released Can’t Lose My (Soul), their debut album forty years in the making due on via Luaka Bop (Floating Points / Pharoah Sanders, Alice Coltrane, William Onyeabor).
The songs on Can’t Lose My (Soul), while propelled by vibrant, body-moving music, deal with heavy themes of spirituality, struggle, and redemption, all informed by their real troubles and experiences as an intergenerational family run by women. In these passionate performances, their personal stories transcend to a state of universal parable and salvation-driven ecstasy, resulting in the kind of communal uplift any preacher or DJ could envy.
The Caldwells are headed by their mother Annie, a member of the Staples Jr. Singers and owner and proprietor of Caldwell’s Fashions, a beloved staple for women’s clothing and church outfits since the ’80s. Annie & The Caldwells was founded when Annie and Joe — her guitar-player husband of fifty years — went to watch their eldest daughter perform a school talent show. To The Caldwells dismay, their daughter was singing the blues — secular music that did not speak the gospel. “We thought, if we don’t do something, the devil’s going to get her,” Annie said.
So Annie and Joe started their own group to keep their kids on the straight and narrow, incorporating music their kids loved — The Gap Band, Chaka Kahn, Bootsy Collins — into a fresh sound that infuses gospel with grit and street savvy. Two decades later, the constellation of family members in The Caldwells is more or less the same: Annie is backed by their daughters Deborah Caldwell Moore and Anjessica Caldwell and goddaughter Toni Rivers; Joe on guitar, their eldest son Willie Jr. on bass and youngest son Abel Aquirius on drums.
They generally play on weekends, so for their day jobs Willie Jr. drives a forklift, Abel Aquirius drives hospital patients, Anjessica works in customer care for an insurance company, Toni is an elementary school teacher, and Deborah does hair.
However, late in 2024, Annie & The Caldwells turned heads with a lightning bolt of a performance at Le Guess Who? festival in The Netherlands, one of their first performances outside the southern United States. MOJO deemed them “the most exciting, most dynamic family of faith imaginable,” elaborating that “their rhythm section (dad and two sons) would give the Family Stone a run for its money; the front line (mum and daughters) have unquenchable sass and spirituality.”
Their new music has received support from fellow artists including The Avalanches, David Byrne, Cornershop, Gabriels, Hot Chip, J. Rocc, Candi Staton and Moor Mother. But none of the endorsements have been as powerful as that of Sir Elton John, who played Annie & the Caldwells’ “Wrong” on his celebrated Rocket Hour radio show on Apple Music. “A MUST album. You must get that album,” he said.
Can’t Lose My (Soul) was produced by Ahmed Gallab, known as the artist Sinkane; the cover art was contributed by Raven Jackson from her Mississippi-based film All Dirt Roads Taste of Salt; and the liner notes were written by Danielle Amir Jackson, formerly of Oxford American.

DEVIL ELECTRIC Melbourne’s Premiere Vintage Rockers Return With Tahlia
It’s been five long years since we have heard those tones and that voice but now, Devil Electric have roared back with Tahlia, their third studio album and most emotionally charged release to date.
At its core, Tahlia is an album about fracture and survival, pain, frustration and relationships breaking under pressure. Uncannily, its themes mirror the years that followed its recording, which only strengthen the emotive undertones of Tahlia. Delivered through soaring vocals, unforgettable hooks, and searing riffs.
The journey begins with the title track and first single, “Tahlia” a riff-driven return to the band’s classic sound. It charts a visceral descent from rock bottom to redemption. A tango between vintage doom metal and modern heavy rock. Tahlia is a homage to the Latin phrase “that which nourishes me, destroys me” told through a blend of energetic verses, chanting choruses, and moody riffs. All designed to leave the listener in an enigmatic state of mind.
Frontwoman Pierina O’Brien says of Tahlia “this song really represents Devil Electric at its core. It’s epic in its composition with a sweeping melody that takes me from the low end of my vocal range to its peak.”
Inspired by the goddess Tahlia, the song, establishes the album’s emotional framework – powerful and painful yet laced with a sly sense of humour as it explores the darker edges of life’s so-called joys.
Serving as a confident first single and a thematic anchor, “Tahlia” introduces an album that embraces power, atmosphere and attitude into a sound that’s impossible to ignore.

BIG DELICIOUS ‘CITY OF ARCHANGEL’(SINGLE)
This is one for those total fire ban days. The days when the sun feels like it has it in for you personally, like it’s trying to grind you into the sizzling pavement, and the idea of shipping out to some frostbitten arctic port sounds like heaven.
Featuring banjo, dobro and fiddle, City of Archangel may appeal to fans of Old Crow Medicine Show, Freakwater, First Aid Kit and The Secret Sisters.
“City of Archangel” is the fourth single release from Big Delicious’s upcoming debut album “Here’s Trouble”.
ABOUT BIG DELICIOUS
Big Delicious know songwriters who use subtext, and they’re all cowards. Big Delicious traffic in simple, old-fashioned tunes that do what they say on the tin.
Featuring far too many musicians and singers from Melbourne acts including Klinger, Sophie Koh, Slow Fades, The Glorious North, Michael Meeking and the Lost Souls, Georgia Fields, Cheezelkane and more, this 9-piece band serves up a hearty stew of all your musical comfort foods: high-lonesome pedal steel, honky tonk piano, old-timey fiddle and the kind of guitar solos that make you want to do burn-outs in a Holden Torana, all on a tasty bed of Wilco-esque indie-rock.
So is it a supergroup? Community support initiative? Massive scheduling nightmare? Who could say. All we know is it’s big. And it’s delicious.

KEEPING NORTH ‘SAVE ME’ (SINGLE)
The new single from Keeping North off the album ‘Demons & Dreamers’
When Keeping North was first being assembled, songwriter Steve Tyson led a bunch of keen musicians on a short tour of country towns that bands rarely visited.
They arrived in a dry Queensland backwater with a proud history of strong, working sheep farms, but now a dwindling population of around 1300. A town that thrived when the shearers arrived and stayed for months, spending their hard-earned and giving life to otherwise quiet streets.
But something changed. The farmers sold out to corporations, taking government money in exchange for credits, to cease operations. Financially, many farmers were saved. But the town died. And those that stayed on found it really tough to eke out a living. Boredom, alcohol, drought — a potent mix that drove some to the edge. Like the protagonist in this song…..
MORE ABOUT KEEPING NORTH
Songs can come from anywhere. From adventures, from history, from matters of the heart. Most of the songs on Keeping North’s album ‘Demons & Dreamers’ come from the imagination of songwriter Steve Tyson. Little pieces of fiction, other peoples’ made-up stories. But perhaps inspired by the real world and lives well-lived.
Tyson was listening to The Delines and the Robert Plant/Alison Krauss collaboration when the songs from ‘Demons & Dreamers’ started to evolve. Also on high rotation on his car’s CD player was early Joe Tex, and Albert King.
Together with guitarist Ian Shawsmith and drummer Stu Hoffman, Tyson grew up in the Australian city Brisbane at the time of the notorious Fitzgerald Inquiry into corruption, playing gigs in clubs run by petty gangsters and bent cops.
The characters that frequented those venues provided plenty of lyrical fodder for these songs written many years later. Pedal steel player Jeff Spencer heard those stories and wanted in. But the need for sweetness, to balance out the grit in the tales, comes from bassist and singer Jodi Murtha. The end result is a set of alt.country tunes laced with the blues, tinged with soul, and informed by folk music.
Tyson has long been regarded as an important songwriter in the Australian landscape, critically acclaimed for his solo work. Said respected critic Noel Mengel (former chief music writer for the Courier Mail), ’these are songs that are built to last. Powerful, passionate songcraft that is worthy of your time.’

KINCADE STEVENS ‘ONE TRACK MIND’ (SINGLE)
Kincade Stevens’ musical path winds through unexpected territory. He grew up in western Sydney, raised on the classic country storytelling of Alan Jackson, Clint Black and the soaring harmonies of the Eagles.
Later he would discover the raw authenticity of Americana outliers that became his major influences: Grant Lee Buffalo, The Jayhawks, and Richard Buckner. Add to that the anthemic, sing-along spirit of Australian rock—Hunters & Collectors, Crowded House—and you have the foundation of Stevens’ distinctive sound.
During the Covid lockdowns, Stevens channeled isolation into creativity, writing an album’s worth of country songs that kept burrowing around his brain. “I wasn’t sure I’d ever release anything” says Stevens. Those sessions became the catalyst for his debut album The Defeatist, co-produced with Nashville’s Caleb Hardin over zoom sessions and featuring world-class session players from across the globe.
His first single “Pride” tells the story of the highs and lows of lfe over a lost Tom Petty melody and multi layered harmonies with his sisters.
His latest single “One Track Mind” pairs Stevens’ blend of traditional country heart with alt-country edge, brought to life in a cinematic video directed by Nathan Burney of Burning Pictures and shot at the historic NSW Rail Museum.

SEGO Find Glitter In The Gutter On ‘Direct To DVD’ Album
Delivering art-punk grit laced with their raucous indie-pop buoyancy and a surreal alternative edge, LA’s Sego go ‘Direct To DVD’ with their new album (out Monday, February 9). Stream ‘Direct To DVD’
With three full-length albums and a smattering of singles/EPs and compilations with labels such as Kitsune, Dine Alone, Roll Call Records, and more, Sego’s output has garnered widespread acclaim. Highlights include praise from NPR, Paste and Consequence; European tours; festival appearances at SXSW, Bonnaroo and Austin City Limits; and a national Xfinity commercial airing during the Olympics and the Super Bowl.
Sego’s allure extends beyond their dopamine-fueled anthems, where alt-rock riffs, synthesisers, drum machines, pop sensibility and playfully subversive lyricism twist expectations. From the IDGAF attitude and tongue-in-cheek #segosucks campaign that launched their sophomore album in 2019 to their latest move of sharing a direct mobile number so literally anyone can text them, the band consistently sidesteps convention.
What began as another Sego experiment has grown into a community of more than 5,000 contacts receiving personal updates when they roll through town. Text your name and city to +1 (323)-480-0500, and they’ll hit you back next time they are heading your way. That instinct to operate differently is rooted in years spent living and creating together inside a Downtown LA studio warehouse.
So, it feels distinctively Sego to release an album titled ‘Direct To DVD’, a collection of both brand new and oddball tracks once sitting on the fringe, that can now hang about on a feature. Untethered from the expectations of a formal album cycle, each song is free to follow its own internal logic. That absence of obligation gives the tracks room to experiment, misbehave and land wherever they need to. Speaking on the album, Spencer (guitar/ vocals) states:
“‘Direct To DVD’ borrows its name from a format that once implied lesser value and flips it into a feature. These songs exist in the margins – where experimentation, humor, and risk tend to live without expectation. It feels like flipping through a box of tapes you forgot you loved: unfinished thoughts, alternate versions, and moments that matter precisely because they weren’t overthought. These are the songs that happen between albums.”
Full of contrast, ‘Direct To DVD’ shifts between brightly polished, boisterous indie pop tracks and the ruckus of grunge rock. Siren-blaring hooks and smashing social commentary sit alongside artful production and moments of blown-out distortion, with synths, percussive textures and frenetic energy tying it all together. The record closes with Sego flipping their older material into laid-back EDM and house remixes from Mr. Tape and Mondo Cozmo, reinforcing their instinct to stretch each idea as far as it can go.
The album rewards longtime fans with familiar sounds drawn from every era of Sego’s catalogue, while newcomers are offered a wide-ranging introduction to everything the band have explored over the years.

“TIME GOES ON” AS KOE WETZEL CONTINUES MUSICAL ASCENT
Rolling Stone’s “ultimate if-you-know-you-know artist” Koe Wetzel continues to impress with his latest reflective release of “Time Goes On.” Following a steady stream of social media teases and fan anticipation, the track offers a clear-eyed look at change, growth and the passage of time. Listen HERE, and watch the Michael Herrick-directed visualizer shot at Bluejack National in Texas HERE.
“We wrote this as an acknowledgment of how quickly life moves, whether you embrace the changes that come with it or not,” Wetzel reflects.
The track co-written by Wetzel with frequent collaborators Amy Allen, Carrie Karpinen, Josh Serrato and producer Gabe Simon continues Wetzel’s tradition of pairing introspective songwriting with the signature rock-grunge-meets-country swagger that has defined his career.
I could have done a lot of things right
I could have done a lot of things wrong
Could be pouring concrete on a West Texas street
But I’m writing this song
Crazy how the years go fast
Crazy how the hours feel long
Even through the mistakes and the can’t get through this
Time goes on
The time goes on
The release follows “Surrounded,” which introduced this next chapter and reaffirmed Wetzel’s ability to balance vulnerability with confidence. Together, the songs serve as early markers for a broader body of work that has been quietly taking shape behind the scenes.
In the weeks leading up to this release, Wetzel has steadily teased “Time Goes On” across his social media channels, quickly sparking fan anticipation and signaling excitement for the next era of music, as he can be heard hinting that this might be “one of my favorites off the record” in one clip.
The new music follows Wetzel’s 2024 studio album, 9 Lives, with debut Country radio single “High Road” (feat. Jessie Murph) holding the No. 1 spot for five weeks and earning recognition as the most-played song of 2025 by Country Aircheck/Mediabase.
After playing CMC Rocks in 2025, Koe Wetzel will return down under for his debut East Coast Australian headline shows in May, 2026. Find more information here

About Koe Wetzel: Koe Wetzel never met a genre wall he couldn’t tear down. The Texan singer-songwriter has earned a rabid audience for his songs that mix country, rock, hip-hop, and even Nineties grunge. With his defining fifth studio album, the Gold-certified 9 Lives released in 2024 via Columbia Records, Wetzel earned recognition on several major year-end best-of lists, including Rolling Stone, Billboard, the Tennessean and more, with the Los Angeles Times naming lead single “High Road” (feat. Jessie Murph) as the No. 8 best song of 2024 across all genres. The single not only marked Wetzel’s debut at Country radio, it also held the No. 1 spot for five weeks, was the most-played song of 2025 per Country Aircheck/Mediabase and the now-3x Platinum song became his fastest to reach the RIAA Platinum milestone to date. Previously, his 2016 album Noise Complaint endeared him to fans with its no-holds-barred lyrics about drunken nights, broken hearts and stints in jail, and included the Gold-certified hit “Love” (feat. Parker McCollum), Platinum “Something to Talk About” plus the infamous “February 28, 2016.” Wetzel’s 2020 major label debut, the Gold-certified Sellout, only furthered his legend with the Platinum-certified “Drunk Driving” and “Good Die Young” plus the Gold-certified “Kuntry & Wistern.” The 2022 follow-up, Hell Paso, hit No. 3 on Billboard’s Country Albums and spawned hits on both the country and rock charts, including the Gold-certified “Creeps” and “Cabo.” To date, Wetzel has amassed 4.2 billion total streams and has created a genuine experience with his live concerts, which he describes as “total chaos.” Wetzel performed for more than 250,000 fans across his headlining Damn Near Normal Tour in 2025, while also supporting HARDY’s Jim Bob World Tour and select stadium dates with Morgan Wallen.

Leah’s 2026 Australian tour also heralds the official release on Monday 9th February of her third Kissing The Flint studio project ‘Rule The World’, the much-anticipated follow-up to her blues-rock album ‘Standing On the Fringe of Rooms, which Leah launched and toured in Australia and the UK across 2024 and 2025.
Featuring 2025 single releases ‘Windscreen Dream’, ‘Piece of the Action’ and ‘Against The Grain’, the new album fuses polish with raw emotional depth, freewheeling through country pop and rock, soul, Celtic influences, and even a subtle touch of reggae in a rich and diverse sonic landscape. AUSTRALIAN SONGTRESS DANIELLE SPENCER ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM “REGENERATE” OUT MARCH 27
Best known for her successful acting career and critically acclaimed albums White Monkey (2002) and Calling All Magicians (2010), Danielle Spencer has long been celebrated for her poetic songwriting and evocative voice. Her anticipated music return after 16 years with third album Regenerate out on Friday, March 27 feels as vital and passionate as ever.
Written entirely by Danielle, Regenerate marks a bold new creative chapter for one of Australia’s most compelling and consistently evolving artists. The album explores themes of rebirth, growth and self-discovery, embracing electronic textures, theatrical performance and a renewed physical presence on stage. “You can be anybody, I can be anybody, we can be anybody,” She says — a philosophy that sits at the heart of the record.
Born into music as the daughter of Don Spencer, Danielle began singing and learning piano at just four years old before building a successful career across film, TV and theatre. She has starred in numerous landmark Australian dramas including The Flying Doctors, Home and Away and All Saints, while also releasing two critically acclaimed albums and performing around the world.
The comeback Regenerate era began in late 2024 with the release of the title track, which introduced a more electronic, experimental and visually ambitious sound. The single earned strong critical praise and led to Danielle’s first-ever performance with a remix version at the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras in 2025 and ended the year with another coveted Stellar Magazine cover feature. Follow-up releases “The Game” and “Hummingbird” found audiences in unexpected corners of the world, further cementing her growing international reach.
Her new single “Older (Regenerate Part II)” explores themes of being present and forward thinking in the age that you are at, whether you are 21 or 51, it’s where you are, and everything you have done has led up to now – live it. You will not hear lyrics on the Regenerate album that you have heard elsewhere, the unique honesty and lyrical output which reflects Danielle’s reputation as one of Australia’s most multi-talented and insightful songwriters.
With Regenerate, Danielle Spencer delivers her most confident, adventurous and emotionally rich body of work to date — an honest, intelligent and thought-provoking album that reflects an artist fully embracing reinvention and creative freedom, while concurrently feeling like her most accessible and pop oriented work.
Other recent highlights include a duet with Delta Goodrem on Christmas With Delta, a guest appearance at Russell Crowe’s sold-out Enmore Theatre show alongside Marcia Hines and Troy Cassar-Daly. Beyond music, Spencer remains committed to advocacy and community work through her involvement with the Australian Children’s Music Foundation and her ongoing support for breast cancer awareness.
Regenerate album is out Friday, March 27, 2026.
New single “Older” is out now.

Following their debut album Planted Feet and their first live show in 2020, the current lineup—featuring drummer Marianne Heikkinen and lead guitarist Zsolt Szilagyi—solidified their momentum. EVA UNDER FIRE Drops “Murder Scene,” A Rallying Cry For The Betrayed
Listening to Eva Under Fire is like hard rock therapy, turning scars and demons into anthems of inner strength. Nowhere is that clearer than on the Detroit band’s latest single, the sonically fierce and lyrically razor-sharp “Murder Scene,” released today (February 6) via Better Noise Music.

“‘Murder Scene’ explores eating disorders, body dysmorphia, self-doubt, and how dreams can become nightmares when the same people who once cheered for you are now criticizing you,” says singer and songwriter Amanda Lyberg. “The dream of being on stage comes with a spotlight on my personal flaws. I’m just a body. To be picked apart and judged and perceived. Anxiety is a liar in my head. It tells me I’m not good enough to be here. So, I fight it. I changed my name and my image to prove it wrong. Still the anxiety gets louder. I think it’s trying to kill me. In a world so desensitized, it feels like death has been redefined as a minor inconvenience. I’m insecure about my body so anxiety might win. My skin is crawling, and every part of my body feels wrong. Maybe I’ll call a doctor and get it altered. Maybe if I don’t eat, I’ll feel better.”
“Murder Scene” is the follow-up to the blistering and inspirational anthem “Awakening,” released October 17, 2025 via Better Noise Music. It was the first taste of new music in two years from the Detroit, quintet.

For all of EVA UNDER FIRE’s new music, Amanda drew on her career as a licensed therapist to foster an open dialogue among the band members, empowering everyone to be heard during the recording. Her work in therapy started in 2018 when she graduated with a Master of Arts in Psychology degree and went on to work at a mental health clinic in Detroit, Transcendence Behavioral Health (owned by Dr. Stephanie Williams). That same year, her father passed away due to a fentanyl overdose. Her mother survived the same batch that killed her father and has been sober for the past six years. In addition to her thriving and busy music career, Amanda is currently a practicing psychotherapist specializing in trauma work, grief and loss, and addiction recovery.
Her story turned into a 2023 short film, “My Rockstar,” which used EVA UNDER FIRE music throughout, and has won over 20 awards in several film fests including Orlando Film Fest, Wild Rivers Film Festival, Toronto WILDfilm Festival, and many others.
Lauded as one of Sirius XM’s 2023 “Ones To Watch,” EVA UNDER FIRE released their critically acclaimed debut album, LOVE, DRUGS & MISERY via Better Noise Music in 2022. Its deluxe version includes the Top 20 Active Rock radio-charting single “Unstoppable” featuring country/rock artist Cory Marks. They’ve toured across the globe with acts including Bush, Bad Wolves, Pop Evil, Skillet, and Finger Eleven, while also appearing at some of rock’s biggest festivals including Aftershock, Inkcarceration, and Rock Fest.
EVA UNDER FIRE—who has amassed over 100 million streams and 10 million YouTube views—substantially expanded their fanbase following their featured appearance in the horror-thriller The Retaliators (Better Noise Films) and the inclusion of their single “Blow (ft. Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills)” on the film’s soundtrack. Their single “Heroin(e)” was also featured on the soundtrack for the 2020 film Sno Babies (Better Noise Films), which has over 65M global total streams. “Heroin(e)” has a combined total of over six million global streams, while “Blow (ft. Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills)” has over 41.6M global total streams.

This release comes at a special time in her life as she embraces motherhood with her new baby, Xuri, adding a fresh perspective and depth to her music.
Some Kinda Heaven explores the thrill and tension of fleeting highs and subtle heartbreak
“I’m always trying to find a satisfying balance of melancholy and euphoria when I make music, I think because I drift between those two emotional states quite a lot. I think this song captures those conflicting feelings, knowing something’s maybe a bit toxic but you ignore the signs because it feels so good in the moment.”
A self-taught and proudly DIY artist, Memphis LK has become a defining force in Australia’s next generation of electronic voices. Emerging from Melbourne’s world-class club scene, her music taps into the sanctuary and transcendence of the dance floor, a space to let go, reconnect, and escape. CHUCK SICS SHARES EMOTIONAL FIRST SINGLE OF 2026, ARMS
A 00’s-influenced indie rock anthem for all the anxious lovers, Sydney-based artist and multi-instrumentalist Chuck Sics returns for the first time in 2026 with his new single Arms. It’s his first new offering since the release of his debut EP Slipstream, which came out in September 2025.
Just like his previous releases, Chuck Sics’ fuses his trademark knack for conjuring relatable lyrical fare whilst tackling another tricky topic – love, accepting love, and learning that you can be loved. Arms was produced and mixed by Chuck Sics himself, with help from frequent collaborators Blake Wares and River Langford. It continues on Chuck’s crunchy yet volatile creative aesthetic, whilst exploring new sonic and lyrical territory for him.
“Arms is a song about falling in love, and letting love win you over when you’re afraid to lose it”, Chuck said about the track. “ I guess it’s normal to be afraid to lose someone, but it’s also easy to become nihilistic in that fear and let it cloud your feelings.
“It’s easy to get swept away in the fear that nothing lasts forever. With Arms, I wanted to remind myself, and hopefully others, to be present, hold your loved ones and let them hold you – that’s all you need.”
Marking Chuck’s first new release since his debut EP Slipstream, which dropped in September 2025, Arms again showcases Chuck’s versatility and skill, both as a writer and a musician (playing almost every instrument, producing and mixing). Since debuting in May 2025 with Redo, Chuck has gone on to receive over 100k streams on his EP, showcase at SXSW Sydney, build fans and industry attention locally and internationally, sell out his debut headline show and support the likes of The Tullamarines on the headline tour. Alongside the new single, Chuck is playing a residency in Sydney at Pleasure Club. His first show was on February 5th, with the next on February 19th, with more shows – both locally and interstate – to come in the near future.
Picking up the trumpet in primary school, Chuck Sics’ musical evolution soon led him to the piano, before the floodgates burst wide open via finding the guitar at the age of 12, followed by bass, singing, and the occasional foray into drums. Dreams of becoming a concert pianist soon gave way to rock’n’roll persuasions, and, ultimately, a solo career that now finds Chuck in 2026 weaving lush and atmospheric soundscapes into stories soaked in poignant and authentic introspection. Offering listeners a journey through creativity and self-discovery, Chuck’s lyrics and musical proficiency was most recently on full display in a live setting with his band, but it’s via his debut EP Slipstream and Arms that Chuck Sics’ creative magic will enamour far and wide; labours of love that were years in the making, and that Chuck now continues to share with the world.
Arms is out now.

PASH RETURN WITH NEW SINGLE ‘RICOCHET’ + HEADLINE TOUR THIS MONTH
Coming hot off the success of their indie-pop bop ‘Tracy’, today PASH, a four-piece pop/rock phenom from Adelaide, are following up with new single and music video, ‘Ricochet’.
Born from themes of destructive desire, ‘Ricochet’ is raw, impulsive and kinetic. A tale of projecting fantasies onto someone who can’t really fulfil them, being drawn back into something you know will hurt you, all because it makes you feel alive.
Says the band; “’Ricochet’ shows a sexier, rockier side of PASH we can’t wait for y’all to hear. It’s about how hard it is to stay away from someone that you know is bad for you. And how you’ve got to hit the ground running if you want to move on”
Adelaide fans will be able to see the track performed live this weekend when the band play Laneway Adelaide as the triple j unearthed winner, before they take their live show on the road for headline shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane, and a spot on the upcoming Lime Cordiale Lime Green Festival.
Led by charismatic front-man Jett, PASH have been building a devoted fanbase online and IRL, and proudly claim to be the sonic and aesthetic love-child of INXS and 1975.
They’ve had a huge 12 months after a Silverchair cover they posted online gained major traction which led to them signing a global deal with AWAL out of the US, writing and recording their debut EP, playing shows across Australia including a spot at Beyond The Valley.
Formed in and around Adelaide, Jett, Orlando, Nic and Daniel are best mates, basically brothers, and are determined to take over Australia and the world in 2026 and beyond.

JACK GRAY New Single & Video ‘Tattoos’
Currently touring with ‘Maren Morris’ AU/NZ +
Joining ‘Good Neighbours’ on their UK Tour later this month
Jack Gray is on a roll. Currently on tour with US artist Maren Morris, today the Australian singer, songwriter offers another glipse of his forthcoming debut album with the release of his new single ‘Tattoos.’
Already a fan-favourite at the current Maren Morris tour, ‘Tattoos’ was co written with global pop sensation Peach PRC. Arriving at their session both nervous and creatively blocked, the duo did what any sensible musicians would do – ditched the studio and got matching tattoos – their shared love of The 1975 permanently inked. Returning later that night, they channelled the chaos into a song inspired by the experience itself.
Jack Gray shares, “Doing your first writing session with someone you’ve just met doesn’t always go well and is generally pretty awkward. But Peach and I clicked right away and had a great time making this song. She is an incredible writer – while I was working on the beat, she wrote the pre-chorus in like 3 seconds and it turned out to be my favourite part of the song.”
As an ode to the UK band, ‘Tattoos’ is packed with subtle easter eggs, driven by a wiry new wave bassline and rowdy sing-along chorus that cements the song as one of Jack’s most immediate and energized releases to date.
A true multi-instrumentalist Jack Gray performs all the instruments on ‘Tattoos’ – bass, guitar, synths and piano – as well as producing the single himself.
An avid film buff, the Mackay native frequently draws inspiration from the big screen. For the accompanying ‘Tattoos’ official video, Jack Gray enlists director Maddy King (ONE FOUR, Moza, Yuma X) and Cameron March (Midnight Oil), to create a movie-style clip. Featuring Jack and American-Argentine actress Galilea La Salvia (Goosebumps, The Rookie, Matlock) the video, shot in various locations across Las Vegas, captures the dizzy impulsive energy of the night that ‘Tattoos’ was inked.
Jack Gray kicked off the year touring with UK indie-rock duo, Good Neighbours on their Australian Tour and following that run, the band asked Jack to join them again later this month for a number of their UK dates.
‘Tattoos’, marks Jack Gray’s first single for 2026, following previously released singles ‘Bluffin’, ‘Drive Her Home’ and debut single ‘Dumb Sh*t’. Together the singles have garnered over 1 million global streams contributing to move than 40 million streams across his growing discography.
2025 was a massive year for Jack, along with releasing new music, he supported Jeremy Zucker and Daniel Seavey on their Australian and New Zealand Tours, collaborated with Pinterest for a special one off intimate fan event and was invited to be part of the highly respected VEVO DSCVR New Music Program. Currently on the road supporting Maren Morris with the final show tonight at the Town Hall in Christchurch, Jack returns to London next week to begin touring with Good Neighbours.

SYDNEY’S MEGA FÄUNA ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM ‘SOFTMORE’ LEADING WITH DYNAMIC OPENER FOR 2026 IN ‘HEARTBEAT’
Emerging as part of a new wave of exciting voices within the Sydney indie scene, MEGA FÄUNA are taking a confident stride into a brand new year with the announcement of their new album, softmore.
The record, following on from 2023’s Fibonacci Sequins EP, is a collection of music that positions the five-piece in a defiant and vibrant creative phase. Already, the group has established a beautiful chemistry that has run from the studio, directly into the DNA of their music.
MEGA FÄUNA – featuring members of acclaimed outfits in THE BUOYS, SWEETIE , WILES and SKELETEN – began with a desire to build something new from the edges of the local music scene. Musicians Tess Wilkin and Freyja Fox set out to connect with women who didn’t already play in bands — or even play instruments at all — and who weren’t already orbiting the same familiar friendship circles that so often shape independent music scenes.
As a result, the band members have brought their own unique perspectives and approach to music through to this project, mixing engaging indie melodies and hooks with a fresh take on Australiana. From softmore, MEGA FÄUNA offered its first tease with ‘sleep deceit’ in October, before coming through with ‘lifelike’ in January; a perfect moment of reintroduction for the band.
Today, MEGA FÄUNA is proud to reveal their new single from softmore, the magnetic track ‘heartbeat’. A song that captures the listener’s attention with ease, ‘heartbeat’ is a gripping release that acts as a definitive moment for MEGA FÄUNA as they kick off a new year of art and creative endeavours together.
Recorded at Stranded Recording Studio in Bellambi on the lands of the Dharawal Wodi Wodi, this project came together with producer and engineer Guy Fenech (AUSTRALIA the Band, Ces Hotbake, Shearin’, James Domeyko). As the band explains, ‘heartbeat’ is a song that navigates the headiness of life lived everyday; its unpredictability anchored by a central, primal heartbeat that keeps us going.
“It’s about the fact that time keeps ticking, life keeps cruising and whether or not we want it to and our bodies just keep doing their secret, magic jobs inside of us without us even thinking about it or trying to control it. It’s kinda cool to think about this inner life that just goes on and on despite the kinda day you are having, despite the words you are saying, the games you are playing, or the emotions you are feeling.
It’s a little bit marvelling at the body and a bit about the whirlwind that life can sometimes feel like. Day in, day out racing yourself to get everything done and teetering between feeling like things are staying on track and almost losing a grip. But always it just comes back to that heartbeat that keeps on keeping rhythm despite it all and quietly wondering at what else might be going on beneath all the skin and muscle and blood.” MEGA FÄUNA
Making their debut in 2020 with the song ‘Jacaranda’, MEGA FÄUNA developed a strong community following quickly as ensuing music releases cemented their status as ones to watch. A string of singles that would lead to the Fibonacci Sequins EP demonstrated their natural knack for intimate songwriting and storytelling while musically, the band presents charisma and a heartfelt bond with ease.
Notable performances have included SXSW Sydney and the King Street Crawl, as well as support for the likes of RVG, Otoboke Beaver, Body Type, Los Bitchos and more. To date, MEGA FÄUNA’s music has received healthy support via rotation adds on community radio, as well as a growing community on streaming services, attracting over 140,000 streams on Spotify alone.
The release of softmore on March 19 will mark an exciting new milestone for the band; the unveiling of a song like ‘heartbeat’ is just a taster of what is still to come.
‘heartbeat’ is released THURSDAY 12 FEBRUARY

SARALYN SADDLES UP WITH NEW SINGLE & VIDEO ‘COWGIRL BLUES’ + ANNOUNCES FORTHCOMING SHOW DATES
Rising Australian country artist Saralyn delivers grit, swagger and feel-good confidence on her new single ‘Cowgirl Blues’ – a bold, dancefloor-ready country anthem that blends traditional twang with a modern edge and puts her powerhouse vocal front and centre.
A playful take on heartbreak, ‘Cowgirl Blues’ is about choosing movement over misery. “Trading tears for worn-out boots, late country nights and choosing to dance it off with your friends instead of dwell on it,” shares Saralyn. Inspired by the fearless storytelling of Dolly Parton and Shania Twain, the track flips disappointment into confidence, proving there’s power in picking yourself up and having a little fun along the way. WATCH VIDEO HERE
Produced by Rhys Zacher (Jake Davey, Chelsea Berman) at Spinlight Studio, ‘Cowgirl Blues’ continues a creative partnership that has spanned four years. A fusion of snarling guitar riffs, a stadium-worthy backbeat and Saralyn’s sugary vocal; it’s got radio-ready polish and unmistakable country edge. Everything about the track makes you want to get up and move, so it’s only natural the recording process mimicked that same energy.
“Cowgirl Blues was built around a fun, high-energy recording process that leaned into big country sounds and feel-good momentum,” recalls Saralyn. “Guitarist Adam Osmanovic (Viper Creek) brought the unmistakable country twang, supported by honky-tonk keys, pedal steel, banjo, and driving drums. The track grew naturally into something bold, playful, and full, capturing the joy of the room and delivering a big, confident country anthem made to be turned up loud.”
‘Cowgirl Blues’ follows Saralyn’s previous release ‘If Tomorrow Never Comes’ – a hit from her appearance on The Voice Australia, under the mentorship of Ronan Keating. The single is taken from her forthcoming debut EP, set for release in 2026, marking a pivotal chapter in her artistic journey.
Shot by Jake Davey Studios, the ‘Cowgirl Blues’ music video brings the song’s themes of friendship, freedom and fun vividly to life. Filmed in Gresford, NSW, across a huge open paddock on a local friend’s farm and Saralyn’s hometown pub, the shoot quickly turned into a celebration.
“The night came together with the pub rallying the local ladies, crackers, cheese, wine, and dancing well into the night. Surrounded by friends & family, the blue 1975 Kombi van became part of the story, with standout moments including the choreographed leg kick, a confetti pop ‘owe!’ moment, and carefree scenes of driving the Kombi turning the shoot into a celebration rather than just a video.”
With growing national recognition, Saralyn continues to build strong momentum. She was recently named the 2026 Winner of the People’s Choice Awards TCMF Country Music Bulletin ‘Most Promising Future Star’, and has seen previous singles chart nationally, including ‘I Would Run’ (#4 AMRAP), ‘White Butterfly’ (#2 AMRAP) and ‘Freedom Train’ (#1 Tasmanian Country Radio).
In 2026, Saralyn steps into a massive touring chapter, hitting the road nationally with TRAILBLAZER – A Lainey Wilson Tribute Show – celebrating the music and storytelling that helped shape her sound, while continuing to grow her live audience across the country.
“This year feels like everything I’ve been working toward. Every release has been intentional, every song part of a bigger story. With new music, touring, and long-held plans finally coming to life, I feel grounded, ready and excited to share this next chapter,” says the singer-songwriter.
Confident, fearless and built to be played loud, Saralyn turns heartbreak into fun on ‘Cowgirl Blues’. It’s a reminder that sometimes the strongest response is slipping on your worn-out boots and turning the music up.
